rose petals amongst bare, marked skin. tinted cheeks with tears streaming down them. lipstick upon lips that can't smile. you only look at the pretty things and assume the rest isn't as important. so if there are pretty red lights surrounding a district that holds nothing but pain mixed with a little bit of ecstasy, it won't matter to anyone. soon, it won't even matter to you, angel. shake hands with satan and the deal is done, there's no way out now unless you're willing to shed blood. innocence meets madness while lips meet bite in a brilliant red place that only exists in the night.
there's blood pooling around celeste's body, she tries to grasp at something to defend herself with until there's another cut being made to her stomach. this time, the pain lasts longer. it isn't a mere scratch followed by a small burn anymore.
celeste's eyes roll back and she begins to choke. her hand gripping that of her lover's. the man smiles tenderly. "we're making art together," he whispers to her as hangs open and tears slip out of her eyes.
the man pulls the knife out of her flesh, gazing upon the heart he made in it. he looks at the pocket knife, such a brilliant red he thinks. he raises it, bringing it to his lips. he it.
the taste is beyond amazing.
he looks at celeste, whose eyes are now closed, and he smiles fondly. he rubs her stomach slowly, gazing at her unconscious face intently while he does. he leaves the knife at his side, leaning down to place a gentle peck on the woman's stomach.
his son is in there and will be as she continues to please his costumers, and himself.
he will not be there when she cries, nor when she gets sick. she is nothing but an ; a disposable joke to the world he lives in.
Chapter 2: it's been a while since i've actually read a fanfic and i don't want to exaggerate, but this is by far one of the most beautiful writing i've ever seen so far. i just love how you are so descriptive, convey each and every bit of the characters' feelings as well as actions i'm shook. your writing is such an inspiration, it makes me feel very excited for this applyfic of yours, though i'd most likely mingle here and lurk instead of applying, but who cares. all in one, bless you and good luck on this!
