‘Where are you?’ Sungmin was in front of his apartment building when he received a text from Kyuhyun

‘In front of our apartment’ Sungmin texted back rubbing both of his hand together feeling cold, although it was already spring but the weather still felt like winter

‘Are you? Come quickly’

‘why?’ Sungmin greeted security guards he met downstairs with smile while waiting for lift

‘I miss you’ Sungmin chuckled and slipped his phone inside his jacket, didn’t bother to reply the cheesy king, Cho Kyuhyun

“Kyuhyun?” Seungmin called up once he entered their apartment and saw nothing but darkness, ‘weird’ Sungmin checked on his phone clearly the message came just few minutes ago, Kyuhyun said himself he was already home, Sungmin took off his shoes and changed it to slippers he was about to the lights when he saw a candle on the floor accompanied by a pink note with a picture of him and Kyuhyun few years ago when they just met

It was during his fansign event which was held in a mall, Kyuhyun was singing his latest song when he saw Sungmin for the first time, he didn’t know him at all but he couldn’t stop staring at Sungmin and when finally Sungmin looked at him also right into his eyes Kyuhyun was sure  Sungmin was meant for him. When he saw Sungmin walking away after Kyuhyun done singing, he couldn’t help but ran backstage

“Where do you think you are going?!” Kyuhyun’s manager hold Kyuhyun’s arm tightly but Kyuhyun was stronger than him at that time

“I need to find him hyung, sorry I’ll comeback later” Kyuhyun said before he ran to look for Sungmin, he ignored his fans and just walked through them trying to find the guy he saw from the stage, Kyuhyun ran around the mall until basement floor but he still couldn’t find the guy. Kyuhyun hold his chest and wiped the sweat rolling down on his face

“damn it” Kyuhyun swore

“Are you ok?” Kyuhyun turned around and his eyes dilated in surprise “You look… tired” Sungmin looked at Kyuhyun concernedly

“I found you…” Kyuhyun grinned proudly

Sungmin smiled on the nice memories which suddenly flooding his mind, he hold the note carefully walked just few meters and found another note now with a bucket of flower Sungmin loved

Sungmin teared up over the sweet note

“Kyu?” Sungmin called for Kyuhyun but no answer, he stood up about to the light when suddenly it by itself “Hey” Sungmin turned around to find Kyuhyun standing few meters away from him while holding his old guitar when he was still a singer, Kyuhyun didn’t say anything but started to play his guitar and sang the song Sungmin loved the most 0+1, Sungmin didn’t even realize tears already flooding his eyes, the way Kyuhyun sang was just too special, too emotional, too personal for Sungmin until then there were still people blamed Sungmin for making Kyuhyun stopped his career as a singer but that wasn’t Sungmin’s fault of course, it was purely Kyuhyun’s decision and Sungmin couldn’t help but supported whatever Kyuhyun thought was the best for him. Sungmin clapped cheerfully when Kyuhyun finished his song and put out his guitar

“there are so many things I’m grateful about you, I could spend days by mentioning it one by one but the most important one is… thank you min, thank you for being in my life, thank you for being strong despite so many judgmental people out there because of me, you are the most precious thing that ever exist in my life, don’t ever doubt me when I say this… Sungmin-ah I love you” Kyuhyun’s words successfully broke Sungmin’s defense, Sungmin covered his face with both of his hands and cried there, Kyuhyun quickly ran to Sungmin and hug the latter while caressing his back trying to soothe him “Ssshh baby, I said those words to make you happy not to make you cry” Kyuhyun said playfully and laughed when Sungmin muttered ‘’ to him, Kyuhyun let go his hug but Sungmin still hiding his face “Hey, look at me baby” Kyuhyun pried Sungmin’s hands off of his face and Sungmin looked so cute with his puffy eyes and red nose, Kyuhyun wiped away the remaining tears on Sungmin face and cleared his throat after that “Min… I’ve already explained to you why I don’t want to be a singer anymore right?” Sungmin nodded “but there’s one big reason that I haven’t told you because I was waiting for the right moment to say this”

“What is it?” Sungmin asked curiously

“it’s… I want to make my own family, a happy family where they don’t have to be chased by reporters no matter what I done, a family to cure my loneliness when I was still an idol, a family with kids and you… I want to have a family with you min so…” Kyuhyun kneeled down in front of Sungmin, took out a ring he had been holding on for so long waiting for the right moment to give it to Sungmin “Happy 3^rd anniversary and… Would you marry me?”
