"I'm already deeming you as my partner... my boyfriend." Kyuhyun said. Sungmin turned to him with his eyebrow raised.

"You deem me as your boyfriend but you haven't really asked me if I will agree to it." his tone demanding but his face playful.

Skeptically, Kyuhyun scratched his head and looked up. "Will you be my boyfriend?"

"Of course!" Sungmin said as he jumped on Kyuhyun for a kiss.

"Oh my god!" Sungmin exclaimed as he looked at the fireflies fluttering around, brightening the cold, dark night. It's like stars in the 
night as both of them watch the fireflies glow around them.

"Kyu... have you ever seen something as beautiful as this?!" he asked with wonder as one firefly landed right at the centre of his palm.

Kyuhyun stared at him long. Has he ever seen something as beautiful as this? What is he looking at anyway? The main star for him is not the
fireflies... it's Sungmin. The most beautiful he has ever seen.

"I'm looking at it now." he said.

Sungmin turned to him and freed a bright smile.

There he is. Lying on the grass watching the blue sky. Kyuhyun’s hands supporting his head, his right knee resting over the left. He 
slowly smiled as he watches the clouds passing by him. He felt an arm snaking around his chest and he turned to the other. Sungmin.

It was that blessed ordinary day on his way to work that changed his life. Every detail so vivid it has become a slow motion. It was a 
sunny day. A day which he always hate. There is nothing to look forward to on a Monday, seriously. He saw the old man his index 
swiftly and took that day's newspapers and handed it to a passerby. He came closer to get one. There should be something that can cheer 
him up today, right? He stood by the pedestrian crossing and waited together with the loads of people probably just like him who hates 
Monday. Green light. He started to walk across the busy street only to be stun by the person right in front of him.

Out of the hundreds of people walking in that same street every single minute of the day... he saw him. He's short-legged, in his working
clothes, and his face near his phone. It was all very clear. Kyuhyun held his breath and seemed to ignore the passing of people. It has 
become so slow that he even noticed the flick of the other’s hair and the how his eyelashes flickered when he blinked. How could such a 
beautiful person exist right in front of him? It is just not fair. The man walked passed as Kyuhyun followed him with a sight. The world 
started to revolve again.

How lucky could he be? What has he given up in his life to deserve this? Kyuhyun looked at the other, who's fringe is covering the fullness of
his forehead. His eyes closed and and his mouth with a slight smile. The sky watched him as his thoughts go far.

"I can't believe you're saying this to me." Sungmin said with tears rolling down his eyes. "Didn't we both want this? Now you're gonna say all 
these because people thinks you're just infatuated to me? That this is not what it is?" he looked away and shook his head. "Unbelievable."
He turned to Kyuhyun who is looking down not saying anything. What else can he say. The least he wanted to do is to disappoint the
other, and that's exactly what he do. "Just so you know... I'm not gonna chase you if you don't want me anymore."

Kyuhyun shook his head. "You're just saying that because you know that you matter to me."

"Oh no! I'm not saying this to scare you, Kyuhyun. I like you, that's for sure. But I'm not gonna stand here wasting my time for someone
who cannot stand up for me. If you don't want me then just go."  

It was their first big argument. Probably the biggest by far. It was a hurdle for both of them. Kyuhyun stood up and hugged Sungmin from
behind. 

"I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking just now." he shook his head. "I'll be better, ok?" he turned to Sungmin who looked away. "Up 'til now I didn't
realise how much I don't want to hurt you..." he wiped the other's tears. "Please don't be mad anymore."

"What do you think am I doing?" Sungmin asked, his voice cracked from crying. 

Kyuhyun shook his head and pressed his lips on the other's forehead. He can smell the sweet scent of the other's hair and he knew then he
want this for a long time. He made a promise to himself never to hurt Sungmin again. What was he even thinking about. Now it's all clear. 
He want this person. He loves this person.

It is always the unexpected that will take your breath away... maybe beautifully... maybe tragically... maybe wonderfully.

In the afternoon he felt like he had the longest day in his life. He has sat down on his desk working nonsensically and now he has to eat.
He went outside of the building and went inside a dining place and took the escalator at the other side. Seriously, how can someone continue
a day like this? It has been a sickening routine that he has to do. Work. Eat. Work. Rest. Kyuhyun adjusted his bag lazily as he look up.
The world stopped for the second time that day.

That familiar person was using his phone looked up and met his eyes only to give Kyuhyun an awkward stare. Seriously, Kyuhyun didn’t look 
like he can be trusted with the way he looked at him. That awkward smile as if he is familiar with the other person and the eyes that widened
so brightly as if he wasn't bored most time of the day made the other felt awkward he had to look away. Kyuhyun turned his back and thought
of maybe chasing the other but that's impossible as he is about to reach the top while the other has reached the lower level. 
Kyuhyun's mouth was left hanging. He cannot believe he saw the same person for the second time today. Who he is and where he came from...
he definitely wants to know.

Kyuhyun looked at Sungmin, whose fringe is covering the fullness of his forehead. His eyes closed and his mouth with a slight smile. He is
a sleepyhead after all. Kyuhyun chuckled and the other didn't even move an inch.

Sungmin was asleep beside Kyuhyun. His arm around the other. They are watching some old movie in Kyuhyun's room. He looked down and saw the
other peacefully sleeping beside him. They've done that more than once and he sure doesn't mind doing it over and over. Kyuhyun 
thought for a while before kissing the side of Sungmin's temple.

"I love you..." he whispered softly.

Sungmin immediately opened his eyes. Nope. They've been dating for quite some time but Kyuhyun never mentioned these three words. And yes,
he promised himself never to say those words first. What did he hear? Did he just...

He looked at Kyuhyun looking at him, smiling meaningfully. Sungmin chuckled and kissed Kyuhyun right on the cheek.

"Aren't you gonna answer me?" Kyuhyun asked, curiously.

Sungmin nodded his head. "I did wanted you to tell me that first..." Kyuhyun chuckled, happy with his decision. After a few seconds, he 
looked at Sungmin who was smiling to himself.

"...So?" he asked, waiting for the other to say it.

"What?"

"Aren't you gonna say it?" 

Sungmin thought for a while and turned to him. "I'll think about it..."

He then rest his back on the bed and covered himself in the blanket. "Yah!" Kyuhyun said trying to peep at the other.

That almost made his day. He took his time for lunch and is still laughing at himself while eating. He can only shook his head as he thought
of how his expression was. He must have scared the guy. But there's something that nobody understand. He believes in fate and he knows that
someday somehow they will find each other in the most random time, in the most unexpected way. Once he's done, he decided to continue his 
work outside of the office. Yup, after a good lunch... it’s time for a good coffee.

He got his usual drink at his usual cosy cafe. He loves the Bossa playlist and it's one of the reason why he keeps coming back. He opened 
his laptop and wanted to start his work immediately. He has a lot of deadlines 
afterall and he definitely is taking his time. Kyuhyun whispered a 'fighting' and was about to start after sipping his frappe.
All plans have changed the moment he looked up and saw the very same person he met twice that day.

Sungmin opened his eyes and they stared at the other for a while. How could God be so kind to Kyuhyun to give him such a lovely person like
Sungmin? What has he done in his previous life that he deserves this goodness?

"Ming..." Kyuhyun called. Sungmin looked at him awkwardly. He thinks he knows what the other is  going to do but he just can't put it to
words. 

Kyuhyun blew air, nervous of what the next thing will be. "Ming..."

"Err..." Sungmin started. "This is awkward."

"Why?"

"I think I know what is going on?" he said while feeling his face becoming hot.

"Is that why you're blushing?" Kyuhyun asked. Sungmin darted him with a sharp stare and a tsk. Kyuhyun chuckled and all the tension is gone.
He turned to Sungmin and took his hand.

"Well, since you already know then I'll get straight to the point." Sungmin tried to act cooly but he knows he's anticipating this. 

"I can already see my lifetime with you..." Kyuhyun started.

Sungmin held his breath as Kyuhyun brought out a ring. It wasn't a diamond ring, it was just a simple gold ring. A simple ring that holds 
a lot of promises.

"Are you sure about this?" Sungmin asked. 

Kyuhyun nodded his head and breathe in deeply.

"So... Lee Sungmin, will you be mine?" Kyuhyun asked before kneeling right in front of Sungmin.

A question that doesn't need to be answered. Sungmin smiled and took the ring wholeheartedly.

He cannot understand why but the songs has stopped and all he can hear is the beat of his heart as he watched the other putting his tray of
coffee and a slice of cheesecake on the table probably 45 degrees angle to him. He so knows what to do.

Kyuhyun closed his laptop and shove it in his bag. Grab his coffee and stood in front of him.

“Is this sit taken?” he asked.

The person looked up to him, thought for a while and smiled. "I'm Kyuhyun." 

"Sungmin..."

Kyuhyun looked at the hand that is on his chest. The ring enveloping the fourth finger. He smiled. It has been three years since that ring 
surrounded Sungmin's finger. It has been three years since he made that promise... to love him for a lifetime.

"What are you thinking about?" Sungmin asked.

Kyuhyun looked at him and brushed his lips gently on Sungmin forehead before shaking his head.

"Nothing."
