It Wasn't All My Fault

Description

Most worry about their religion, their bills, their relationships, etc. You just had to have the forces of Heaven and Hell trying to come to Earth to kill you.

A full corima should only ever be in the possession of an immortal, but very rarely will there be a mortal with one themselves. It is a band of great power and corima have gleams that reveal pieces about the soul of the wearer.

Black: Destructive (degrees can vary)

Silver: Devious (more on the lighter side)

White: Pure (good)

Gold: Brave (can lead more toward pride)

Bronze: Grounded or versatile (dominantly for mortals)

However, despite evolution, each mortal still possesses shards of these strange metallic bands. The existence of corima have long been forgotten by both the humans and the supernatural. As for the presence of the demons and angels, their roll is still feared, but only by those who actually know of the existence of Heaven and Hell.

You just happened to be born with a lovely corima of your own!

Foreword

The shards of corima have allowed mortals to differ from one another. Some of the species that are related to humans include fairies, elves, dragons, werewolves, vampires, and there are hybrids that even the elves don't know very much about.

Regardless, so many have integrated into society, with their existence being known rather well throughout the human segment. The clearest example are the Havens.

Your from the Haven family. A family who have been some of the most influential elves and remain as one of the last standing who are still rich with elven blood. Of course, with a world so easy to explore, the family have been dispersed and some of their blood diluted here and there as they integrated with society.

Your family had naturally taken what they felt to be the appropriate measures to protect you as best they could, but they had no hope of being able to do anything themselves. No angel would willingly oppose their superiors. The only ones to be found were a group of seven demons who each represented one of the deadly sins. Of course, nothing will ever come without a price, but some prefer to keep those rather ambiguous.

  Song Eun-Mi

Age: 21

Part elf, part faery

You own a small shop to sell your potions.

You might be a little too dedicated to your business as you didn't go to university...

Dominant sins: Wrath and Pride

Least prevalent: Sloth and Envy

The Seven Devils of Sin

Age: Unknown

Their abilities are more or less based on their sin

Their own sin proves to be their vices at some times

Each had a hand in the deal regarding Eun-Mi

 Lust

Got the deal to be permitted and watched over Eun-Mi

Has been held away from you at arms length by the other demons, as he has taken...quite the liking to you.

 Gluttony

Supplied the energy for both the deal and the lengths gone to uphold it

He's more of the mediator and in the upcoming events, that will be needed more than ever!

Greed

Shielded her identity from threats

Has also been more or less distanced from you for fear he'd probably want to somehow steal you...

 Sloth

Determined roles of the seven and kept her corima's energy subdued

Not necessarily the bossiest, he lets Pride do that work. However, that doesn't mean he won't have a lot of work to do in spite of this.

Wrath

Dealt with the threats that could not be stopped by others

Not necessarily as angry as one would expect, but certainly unpredictable. Granted, he enjoys messing with people rather than fighting them.

 Envy

Took thoughts and memories of her existence from threats

His charm matches that of Lust, but he uses it for other things. He quite enjoys Earth for the great multitude of things that he can 'obtain' in the mortal world...

 Pride

Made the deal, determined the roles of the Seven, and watched over her

Certainly not a big charmer by nature, and one where Gluttony really has to step in to stop a few conflicts here and there. He sometimes leads the Seven more than Sloth does!

Some others include:

Kim Myungsoo

Age: 24

Elf from the Toron family

Merchant: Eun-Mi's main supplier for brewing her potions and she gets a discount

Possesses woodland-based magic

Despite being an elf, one would believe him to be a faery, given the way he acts when not around his family.

Heaven and Hell

Vary in view toward humans. Most feel incredibly threatened by any mortal with a full corima.

Every mortal that has ever had a full corima, has been killed.

Alright then! This is my newest story. I hope you enjoyed what I've given so far. It might be a lot, but Heaven and Hell may not play such large rolls just yet!

If you liked it, let me know! :D
