This world I live in. Somehow everything changes everyday, yet nothing changes anymore. The glory of this world is gone, but it’s not boring. This world that belongs to me, and only me, continues on endlessly. But i’m not lonely. It doesn’t bother me at all. Nothing bothers me anymore.

I don’t really know anything about myself really. My name is Rin. I don’t know how I got that name. I’m 17 years old. I don’t know anything from before I was 10 years old. I don’t know where I came from. I don’t know my parents, or if I have any. I don’t know if i’m actually alone in this world. I’ve never seen another person in this world. I’ve lived like this my entire life as far as I'm aware.

Though I do know some things.

I can control everything. My tablet helps me create my world outside of my living space. If I feel like having a grass field and lots of apple trees as my view out my window, then I can do it. If I want there to be a thunderstorm, then I can make that happen too. The only thing I can’t do it make other animals or people.

I’ve tried before.

I’ve always wanted to have a sister. But every time I try to draw someone or something living that’s not a plant, the program stops. I don’t know why. 

Today is day 2539. My tablet has a messaging app. Everyday I check it to see if anyone has messaged me. But I’ve never gotten a message before, and I don’t think I ever will. I don’t understand why that app even exists.

There are so many questions I have about my life and everything about it, but there’s no one I can ask for answers.

But I guess i’m okay with not having the answers. 

I am in control of everything and I guess I should just be happy.
