Description

Park Jimin is a high school student with no ambitions. Due to his bad grades, the boy is sent to a small town outside of his big city life in Seoul. At first, he thought it would be boring, but a specific girl in his new school turns his whole life upside down.

"Small Town, Jinhae" is a sugary love story about two students who decide to run away together, taking place in none other than the small town, Jinhae.

Foreword

"I'm not sure if I'm depressed. I mean, I'm not sad but I'm not exactly happy either. I can laugh and joke and smile throughout the day, but sometimes, when I'm alone at night, I forget how to feel."

- Your Lie in April

This very quote expresses how I used to feel almost every day, how every dreadful minute of my life was filled with nothing more than confusion or distraction. I wished to myself that someone would be my Miyazono Kaori, and that I could get a story of my own, where I'm the main character with a happy ending for once. Of course, I felt like the biggest idiot to believe in things like that.

Sure, I was only 17, but I thought I had life all figured out, that it wasn't so hard to know what's what. If I didn't go to school, there were jobs that didn't need me to go to school; if I failed this class, I'll just major in another. "It's not like it matters anyways; with how far I'm behind, there's not even any hope for me. " God, I was stupid.

Dancing, video games, and the usual teenage stuff were practically my daily routine. When I was forced to move to Jinhaegu, one person by the name of Kwon Mina made my life take a complete 180, and that girl became my very own special Miyazono Kaori, and so much more.

Thank you, Mina, for the best one year, three months, and four days of my entire life.

Love,

Jimin"

In case you were wondering, that was a letter. Sorry if it was unclear...

Any who, I just want to throw out there that this is a little bit of your cliché story in its own unique way. It's one of those stories where you just know from the start that they're going to be together, but you read it to see how sweetly they're going to fall in love. This story is where I'm going to express EVERY SINGLE ROMANCE CLICHE! From kissing in the rain to stargazing, fluff upon fluff will be thrown to make the most sparkly confetti there is!

bye
