“Our baby, Boram and I are cooking tonight, come and visit us” Soyeon

“Thank you for inviting unnie, please enjoy the food for me, I’ll visit you next time” Jiyeon

“We will and we can always cook for you whenever you come”

“I’ve got new sponsorship product for celebrity to try and get them photo snap, are you interested to come and get ones?” Jinny unnie

“Thank you for thinking of me first unnie, but I won’t be able to make it to your shop, please try Eunjung unnie” Jiyeon

“Dino, do you want to go bowling with me and my friends tonight? Qri

“I’ll pass unnie, have fun” Jiyeon

“Do you have any plan Jiyeon ?” Eunjung

“Not really unnie” Jiyeon

“Wanna hang out with unnie?” Eunjung

“I’d love too, but shall we do that later? ” Jiyeon

“Oh sure” Eunjung

Politely turning down all invitations and plans, that is what Jiyeon doing right now, she is not interested to go anywhere or do any activity, it’s not like she is busy or anything, in fact she has no plan and does nothing at all. She just sits here idly, with her messy hair, no makeup on and comfy short and T-shirt. Smiling at earliest comment from her members “You are too artistic now, Jiyeon” , “ You are acting weird” ... etc . well, they may be right but Jiyeon is ok with that

Call her lazy or unenergetic, Jiyeon would care less, because she is happy to stay still and does nothing right now. She has already done so much in her life, going from Tropicana countries to North hemisphere, trying from wrong to right, she made mistakes and learnt how to fix them. Looking back on all she has been through; she is glad she is eventually home. A home that always welcomes her back no matter how many times she has left for good or for bad, a place where she now can lay down and feel at ease, and it’s the only place where someone here can put the arms surround her and she is kept without the chain, either way she doesn’t mind to be chained physically or spiritually, she would do anything for it, as long as she can stay because she never wants to leave again.

“I’m home” A voice comes with signature noise where Jiyeon can tell that the woman who just entering the home, is busy putting shoes back into its place, as tidy and neat person she is, that the first thing she does when she comes back home. Not have to wait until she walks inside the home, Jiyeon makes her way to entrance, and when she sees her back, Jiyeon tenderly puts her arms around Hyomin’s neck not to frighten the older woman who has just done putting back the shoes to its shelf . Hyomin stops as she feels the thin arms around her neck, and Jiyeon can imagine that Hyomin is smiling.

“I missed you all day” Jiyeon said

“I missed you too” Hyomin stayed still

The three words “I miss you” only means its meaning when the person who says it, hears the same thing back. Jiyeon beams widely upon hearing so, this is what she waits for all day, staying home waiting for someone to come home to her, she didn’t realize how much she wanted this, until she left. She left to learn to be who she is now, and realizes where she wanted to be, a home and a heart that hers belongs to, and it’s meant to be Hyomin’s from the start and always.

Unconditionally and everlasting, the woman wrapped by Jiyeon’s arms right now, has loved her and always does, she has set her free and let her fly so many times but there is always something in Hyomin that always brings Jiyeon back to her, and that’s love which chained their souls together.

“How was your day?” Jiyeon asked

“Got all work done, which it was great” Hyomin replied.

“Are you tired?” Jiyeon asked

“I’m fine” Hyomin turned around to see the face she missed all day long.

“How was your day so far?” Hyomin’s turn to ask

“It’s wonderful” Jiyeon grinned

“Please don’t tell me you have been in this clothes since this morning” Hyomin noticed the same clothes Jiyeon wore when she left for work.

“Unfortunately, yes” Jiyeon gave a toothy smile

“Did you even shower?” Hyomin fixed Jiyeon’s messy hair.

“Of course I did, you can smell me” Jiyeon challenged

“Ok, let me try” Hyomin dipped her nose into Jiyeon’s cheek and buried her nose on soft skin for a liltle while, “Well, it smells nice” Hyomin said as she removed her nose from Jiyeon’s check which physically she just pecked on it.

“Try this side as well” Jiyeon puffed her cheek with air in , making her cheek so chubby with air, Hyomin couldn’t help but smiled, and as suggested, Hyomin landed her nose on Jiyeon’s check and planted a kiss on her cheek.

“Nice smell either” Hyomin concluded.

Pure and simple just like that, it’s a happiness that Jiyeon once was searching for, but she never found it anywhere else but here, in Hyomin’s love, Jiyeon feels like she is embraced in safest place, she lost herself in places she wandered, and she is found in these shinning eyes, and there is no place she wants to go, but stays in these arms.

“You should go out and enjoy with members while I’m gone for work” Hyomin suggested as she was testing new perfume she just got.

“I enjoy myself staying at home” Jiyeon answered as she was busy reading a cook book.

“I know you do but our members miss too, and want to spend time with you” Hyomin encouraged

“Maybe later” Jiyeon assured

“If you say so” Hyomin just dropped the discussion.

“I’ll try baking cookie tomorrow” Jiyeon announced.

“Make sure you have fire extinguisher handy” Hyomin commented

“I know what I’m doing” Jiyeon pouted

“I just said it” Hyomin kept a straight face

“But I have something to confess” Jiyeon sheepishly smiled, Hyomin anticipated the worse

“I broke few more plates” Jiyeon gave half toothy, half apologetic smile

“Not again” Hyomin complained but Jiyeon knew the latter wasn’t serious about it.

No one ever forgives her like Hyomin does, Jiyeon realizes that, she knows she has been given chances more than she deserves and she bears it in her mind, she will never allow herself to repeat the same mistake again, never again she will let Hyomin down.

“What’s wrong with you Jiyeon?” Eunjung was obviously shouting on the phone

“As long as other members are there she will be happy” Jiyeon said

“Are you out of your mind, everyone is here but not you” Eunjung was getting impatient

“Unnie, I’m busy” Jiyeon made an excuse.

“Busy staying home, I think I have enough Jiyeon” Eunjung shook her head in disbelief

“Let me talk to her” Soyeon asked for the phone, Eunjung displeasingly passed her phone to Soyeon.

“Jiyeon, tell me why can’t you join us?” Soyeon asked calmly as the way she always treated her little maknae.

“I’m dealing with something” Jiyeon tried to explain

“At Hyomin’s home?” Soyeon looked at the other members sitting around with cake standing on table

“Kind of” Jiyeon replied

“Will you join us later, won’t you?” Soyeon didn’t give up

“I guess not” Jiyeon’s answer made Soyeon surprised, “Well unnie, I gotta hang up now” Jiyeon quickly hung up

“Wait, Jiyeon” Soyeon tried but it was too late, the call was ended with its statics sound.

“What did Jiyeon say?” Qri asked hopefully

“She is not coming” Soyeon told everyone, they could only sigh

“I don’t understand why Jiyeon is acting this way now” Boram who was being silent for so long started to jump in conversation.

“She keeps rejecting all invites from all people, not only us” Eunjung madly sat down next to Qri

“Do you think it is possible that she turns anti-social now?” Qri asked worriedly

“She doesn’t leave Hyomin’s home at all” Soyeon added

“Whatever, this is Hyomin’s day, Jiyeon knows better that Hyomin needs her here” Eunjung couldn’t stop complaining.

“Hey Hyomin is coming” Soyeon signaled everyone to be quiet

“Hi everyone” All members looked at the newcomer, Hyomin walked into the room with professional makeup on her face and her hair was set perfectly, it was easy to tell that she just came from fashion photo shooting and had no time to transform to her normal light makeup mode.

“Hi gorgeous” Eunjung changed her mood all of sudden, Qri , Soyeon and Boram rolled their eyes funnily.

“Aw, that’s my sweet girl Eunjung” Hyomin hugged the older woman.

“Of course she is sweet” Qri made a funny yet sarcastic comment.

“You’re beautiful tonight B’day girl” Soyeon complimented

“Thank you Soyeon unnie, that is one of the reasons why I didn’t remove makeup given by makeup artist” Hyomin said which made everyone laugh. Hyomin looked around but she didn’t see Jiyeon, other members could only look at each other, feeling disappointed.

“Jiyeon can’t make it here, she said she had to deal with something” Soyeon informed

“Oh I see” Hyomin’s face was showing disappointment where everyone could tell, and Hyomin noticed the silence.

“You guys bring me B’Day gift , do you?” Hyomin tried to lighten up the mood by adding her lame joke.

“Ah yeah” Qri quickly reached for a paper bag and passed to Hyomin.

“Thank you so much Qri unnie , that’s very nice of you” Hyomin excitedly accepted the gift.

“You will surely like mine too” Eunjung handed Hyomin a box

“Love you unnie” Hyomin said

“Here is from me and Boram” Soyeon took out small wrapped gift.

“Thank you so much” Hyomin smiled, “ By the way, there are two things in this box right?” Hyomin shook the box.

“No only one” Soyeon answered.

“How come it was from you and Boram unnie” Hyomin was skeptic

“I selected and Soyeon paid” Boram answered made everyone rolled their eyes but they ended up laughing.

“As always” Qri shrugged and added.

“Anyway let’s get the cake” Boram cheerfully suggested.

The five members celebrated Hyomin’s birthday together, they ate, sang and had a little drink. They had a good time together, but deep inside they knew that Hyomin wished Jiyeon was there, it would be better if six of them were all together.

Even though she is a bit upset, Hyomin decides to come home and checks on Jiyeon after her party with other members.

“I’m home” Hyomin announced as always, when she entered the house the whole place was quiet and dark but she was not surprised because it was already 1.30 am in the morning and she assumed Jiyeon must have been asleep now. She tried to switch on the light to hall way but it didn’t work.

“Light goes out ?” Hyomin talked to herself, stumbling a bit in the dark, Hyomin made her way to living room where there was dim light shining there. Hyomin gasped in surprise when she saw what laid before her eyes, glass candles arranged in heart shape were lighted in living room, and inside the heart in the middle laid a cake that didn’t look totally like cake, and Hyomin could tell that it was made by Jiyeon.

“For my one and only” Jiyeon whispered softly “Happy Birthday to my Hyomin” followed by a warm back hug. Hyomin stood still, her eyes were beaming with tears against the shining candlelight, she didn’t see this coming a
