It was a normal day in the Soshi dorm with every member doing their own thing when Taeyeon called out to everyone. "Girls!" She shouted loud enough for all to hear her. Seconds passed and footsteps came either running or fast walking to the leader. 

 

When all members were present, Taeyeon stepped onto the third step of their staircase and announced that they will be doing an activity involving no electronics, or more so no cell phone use for a week.

 

All girls gasped.

 

"What? Are you serious?" Yuri asked feeling for her phone in her pocket.

 

"Nooo way." Tiffany said holding her pink cell for dear life.

 

Jessica stood still with open. "REALLY!?" 

 

"Wae? Wae? Wae?" Yoona questioned.

 

"Calm down, calm down." Taeyeon tried quieting everyone down. "It's only for a week. Our manager found a campaign that has people make a pledge to not using cell phones for one week. JUST one week. And he wanted us to do that. Plus, everyone in SM is doing it as well. Not just us." She finished.

 

They all listened carefully taking in the information. Everyone slowly started to nod, agreeing with the idea, but there were only a few still reluctant to follow through. 

 

"What are we gonna use to tell each other about things if we dont have our cell phones with our personal chat room?" Sooyoung asked.

 

Seohyun raised her hand. "What if we use a message board?"

 

"Ohh, like the ones they have at the company?" Hyoyeon spoke.

 

Yoona clapped. "Ohh! That's a good idea!" 

 

"Okay, so message board it is!" Sunny said jumping around.

 

"Yay!" They all shouted before their phones were taken.

 

-5 Minutes Later-

 

All nine girls sat in their living room with bored expressionless faces. Each were slumped on the couch either looking up at the ceiling or had their eyes closed shut, letting put yawns.

 

"This is so not how i imagined it to be." Hyoyeon said.

 

Sunny nods her head. "Me neither." 

 

"Me too." Tiffany replies.

 

Yuri stretches her body. "Same here." 

 

"...I'm bored..." Jessica says lazily.

 

"CELL PHONE!" They all grumbled.

 

-2 Days Later-

 

The girls had put up a message board up on the wall by the hallway leading out the front door from their dorm. So far only a few messages were on the board.

 

TO EVERYONE: Yes! First to write a message! Dancing queen out! -Hyoyeon

 

TO HYOYEON: I was totally the first to write a message, Hyoyeon! You took down my sticky note! -Sooyoung

 

TO SOOYOUNG: Did not! - Hyoyeon

 

TO HYOYEON: Did too! - Sooyoung

 

TO EVERYONE: I Got A Boy performance today at 7:00 girls. Be ready. -Taeyeon

 

TO YOONA: Yoona~ I can't find my Mickey Mouse plushie. It's not in our room :( -Yuri

 

TO YURI: It's in the closet. I put it in there when i was cleaning. -Yoona

 

As more and more days passed, the girls learned to cope without the use of their cell phones. Instead of looking down at their laps all through plane and drive rides, everyone talked to one another like old times.

 

They went out to dinners, had little dates with their significant other, played video games, and watched movies together at the dorm after practices and shows. 

 

In the middle of the week, a great amount of messages were on the board.

 

TO JESSICA: Jessi~ I got the movie "Legally Blonde" let's watch it tonight in our room. -Tiffany

 

TO TIFFANY: Yeah, let's watch it tonight. I'll be home around 10:00 after the photoshoot. -Jessica

 

TO EVERYONE: Who took my pizza in the fridge! This is sooo not funny. -Sooyoung

 

TO WHOEVER TOOK SOOYOUNG'S PIZZA: Hahahahah! Oh, yeah~~ - Hyoyeon

 

TO HYOYEON: Give me back my pizza! - Sooyoung

 

TO SOOYOUNG: I didn't take it! - Hyoyeon

 

TO SOOYOUNG: Eating that unhealthy food can kill you, Sooyoung unnie.  You'll most likely die. - Seohyun

 

TO HYOYEON: Please give me back my Keroro plushie -.- I know you took it. - Seohyun

 

TO TAEYEON: Taengoo~ I have my musical coming up again. Are you gonna watch me perform? - Sunny

 

TO SUNNY: Of course, I'll come and watch! I wouldn't miss it ever! - Taeyeon

 

TO EVERYONE: Dance practice today and tomorrow at 4:00 to  12:00. Get a lot of sleep. (That means you, Sica) - Taeyeon

 

TO TAEYEON: -.- Zzz - Jessica

 

TO EVERYONE: Bloob! Kekeke! - YoonYul

 

By the end of the week, the message board was FILLED with colorfull sticky notes from random to non random topics.

 

TO HYOYEON: Oi, fashion terroist. We're going shopping today. Just us two. A bog surprise is in stored for you. - Sooyoung

 

TO YOONA: In the mood for excitement? Meet at the beach at 5:00. Bring a big blanket ;) - Yuri

 

TO TIFFANY: Mmm, i wanna watch a movie and go have dinner with you tonight... If you want to... Or if you're free... Or uh, whatever... Yeah... - Jessica

 

TO SUNNY: In the mood for a calm relaxing walk in the night under the stars for two? A bag of sweets are waiting for your arrival. ;) - Taeyeon 

 

TO EVERYONE: Have fun, unnies! - Seohyun

 

TO SEOHYUN: Time for a whole night marathon of Keroro! -Seohyun
