"Sup boss” sejeong barges in the office and sits on a beanbag

 

 

 

“Not funny unnie” chaeyeon says as she continues to type on her laptop

 

 

 

 

“I thought you were taking the day off?” 

 

 

 

 

“But i need to finish these” she whines

 

 

 

“But i need to finish theeeese” sejeong mockingly exclaims

 

 

 

 

“My dear cousin, you should go take a break. Like for a week. You’re such a workaholic ” she adds

 

 

 

“Wow thanks for pointing out the obvious, and by the way, why are you here?” 

 

 

 

 

 

“Ouch, you don’t want me here?” she fakes hurt her voice and holds her chest

 

 

 

 

 

“Well yeah, but i mean, don’t you have to attend to chungha unnie instead?”

 

 

 

 

“She’s out with her friends so I’m left alone at the house” she pouts

 

 

 

 

 

“Chungha unnie must be tired of your face” chaeyeon laughs out loud

 

 

 

 

 

 

“HEY! Atleast I have a lovelife, unlike your workaholic , this pathetic has a girlfriend” she sticks out her tongue

 

 

 

 

 

“Whatever unnie. Besides, i don’t even have time for my kids, what more for a girlfriend?”

 

 

 

 

“She’d probably leave you because you’re always to busy” sejeong cackles

 

 

 

 

“I would love to hit you but unfortunately, you’re right” she sighs as she puts away her laptop. She looked at the clock on her wall and noticed that it had been 3 hours since she sat down.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Maybe she is quite of a workaholic

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Should i set you up on blind dates aga-“

 

 

 

“NO! I swear to God unnie don’t you ever put me on those again” she shivers as she recalls those stupid dates sejeong has set her up with

 

 

 

 

Never again. she thinks

 

 

 

 

“I’m perfectly happy even without a relationship.” she clearly states

 

 

 

 

“If you say so” sejeong raises her hands up in surrender and walks towards the fridge to get some drink

 

 

 

 

Chaeyeon was about to smack sejeong for spilling some soda on the carpet but was stopped by the constant ringing of her office phone

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Hello?” she glares at sejeong, signalling her to shut up

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Is this Mrs. Jung?” a soft voice asks

 

 

 

 

“Yes? Who is this?” 

 

 

 

 

 

“Oh, I am Dahyun, from the school infirmary, Yoojung is not feeling very well and she’s very sick. I was hoping you could pick her up because she won’t budge until she sees her mommy” 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Okay, i’ll be there soon” she hangs up the phone and gets her coat

 

 

 

 

 

“Where are you headed?”

 

 

 

 

“Yoojung’s sick. I need to pick her up” 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Aigoo, should I come with you?” she asks, spilling again some of the soda when she jumps out of her seat

 

 

 

 

 

“YAH! I swear I’m going to get you banned from entering here. Finish that before you ride the car” she points at sejeong and heads to the elevator

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Yoojung-ah, wakey wakey” Chaeyeon caresses yoojung’s cheeks softly and she winces as soon as she felt the heat from it

 

 

 

 

“Hi mum” yoojung says weakly while cutely rubbing her eyes

 

 

 

 

“Aigoo, what do i do with you….” chaeyeon pinches her cheeks while she snuggles closer to Chaeyeon’s chest

 

 

 

 

 

“O-oh, am I interrupting something?” Chaeyeon looks up to see a familiar face

 

 

 

 

 

Quite a familiar face

 

 

 

 

 

“N-no. I was just going to pick up yoojung here” the teacher smiles and moves closer

 

 

 

 

“Are you feeling better kiddo?” Yoojung nods 

 

 

 

 

“Yes teacher, mum is going to take me home” she grins, but coughs a little bit

 

 

 

 

 

“Yes, go take some good rest okay? So you can go back to school again” 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Yes teacher Jieqiong!!” 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“I’ll help you two to the lobby” she says while she takes her leave first, talking to the school nurse for a while

 

 

 

 

 

“Teacher Jieqiong took me here mum, I told her I was fine, but she said I needed to lie down. I can take it mum. I’m a big girl already” she says while jokingly flexing her arms

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“You still need some rest tiger. Let’s go?” she holds her mum’s hand and leaves the infirmary

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Thank you for taking care of yoojung” she bows down while the teacher lightly chuckles

 

 

 

 

“It was nothing, I’m always glad to take care of my students” Chaeyeon sees the passion in her eyes and she wonders how much love those pair of eyes could show still

 

 

 

 

“Do you want to go eat dinner at our house??” Chaeyeon instantly panics and nervously smiles at yoojung who innocently invited her teacher at their house
