It was one Sunday morning when Tao woke up in the arms of his one and only husband. Looking up at Kris, Tao smiled at the sight of his sleepy lover who was really tired from working the other night. Feeling like someone was staring at him, Kris slowly opened his eyes and saw Tao staring at him like if he was the only one that existed.

“Morning love” Kris said in a raspy voice that Tao loved hearing on the mornings he got to wake up with his husband next to his side. They exchanged small little pecks here and there and it didn’t last too long because they heard a small knock on their door.

“Come in” Tao called out and already had a feeling on who was behind the door.

A patch of soft looking black hair popped out of the door when it opened a little and soon enough adorable wide eyes were seen as well.

 “H-hi” A cute little sleepy Kyungsoo said as he shyly hugged his Pororo stuffed toy closer to his chest.

Smiles spread across both parents as they know that they made the right decision of adopting Kyungsoo, of course Kyungsoo is still too young to understand but for right now, Tao and Kris are trying to do everything that’s best for their son.

“ Come here baby, did you wake up early because you couldn’t sleep anymore?” Kris asks and moves more to one side of the bed so Kyungsoo can lay down between them. Kyungsoo nods and slowly walks inside the big room, shuffling his slightly chubby legs and makes a grabbing motion with his arms towards Kris so he can be lift up to the bed.

 Kris giggles and complies to his cute baby which then Tao wraps up Kyungsoo into a cute blanket burrito. Both parents hug him really tight, the love of both of them make Kyungsoo feel warmth and happiness.

“Food today?” Kyungsoo asks both of them, which they reply yes because when Kyungsoo says those words, it usually means that he is asking if they’re going grocery shopping which is a for sure yes on Sundays. Kyungsoo has trouble with interacting with people, he tends to lean more to the quiet shy side and tends to not like crowds. One exception of course is his hyung, Jongin, who is the only person to make Kyungsoo a jittery outgoing boy, but only when they’re by themselves or with their parents.

Going grocery shopping is good for Kyungsoo because he actually likes going isle by isle to see everything they have and there isn’t much of a crowd in the morning. The number one reason though is because chocolate milk gets stocked up every Sunday which Kris makes sure to buy a whole case just for Kyungsoo.

An excited squeal comes from Kyungsoo as he is happy to know that they’ll go shopping as a family. Soon enough after breakfast
