Foreword

Running as quick at lightning, the magician retreated from the village hidden away from the town; he'd regret what he'd done. The village - that was once cheerful and a wonderful place to go - was now demolished by a monster with sharp fangs and bloody instincts, the villagers - child, teenager, adult or elderly - was dead with deep fang marks engraved in their necks, blood spilling silently onto the stained grass. His feet still pounding against the moonlit grass, the magician looked back to see the deadly creature pacing behind him as he retreated past the trees, staring at the bloody scene from behind him. Like lightning, the vampire managed to get infront of the powerful magician and block his path...it was time to collect another soul. Letting the vampire grab him, he conjured up a spell which would get rid of the vampire and claim his prize: his evil-filled soul. He felt cold lips on his neck, though, because the creature was tasting his skin so he could bite the best part, there was no hoping of the vampire of dropping him down and leaving: the magician had to kill the creature quickly...or else HE will face his death, in the worst way. The spell complete, he held the light filled orb in his hand close to the evil-consumed vampire. It was weakening him clearly, yet not weak enough. Half way through the spell, the vampire bit deep and hard into his neck, the magician feeling agonising pain as the creature drew his warm blood to the surface. Fighting away the pain, the magician managed to weaken the vampire enough to get him off of him and claim his soul. Then, pulling out a stake, he shoved it into the vampires chest, the tip of the wooden stake poking out of its back and hearing the grusome sound of broken bone, the vampire died instantly. Calmly, the magician claim its soul in an orb and then went back to the wreckage of a village to find something (or...someone) to connect with the soul of the once evil-consumed creature. Finding a small cottage in the village, he went up close to find a small child next to a wrecked home. The magician already felt guilty of what he was going to do, yet he had to do it quick so, quickly, he connected the vampire's soul to the child. Then, in a knot of guilt, he retreated back to the forest walking calmly...

He stopped moving, his face with a look of pain on his face and his green eyes staring widely at the excruiating pain he felt as sharp fangs bit horribly hard into his neck like before, only harder. This time, the vampire was a female...yet much worse than the last one. Then, he felt an unbelievely painful pull as the girl viciously his blood into to satisfy her evil hunger. Blood trickled down the magician's body and soon enough, it'd be coated in red. Suddenly, as the girl was supposedly finished her meal, the magician's heart stopped as the vampire pierced his chest with her long, sharp nails, fishing out his heart. Just then, he felt the vampire's fingers wrap around his heart and then pulled  it out - still beating - the magician still alive (in horrible pain) with a gaping hole in his chest. This is the end for him...the girl sunk her fangs into the red muscle - still beating and juicy - and drained the life from the magician...
