Maybe it was the way he laughed, or maybe it was the way his pretty lips curled up into a small grin whenever he saw something stupid. Either way, Soonyoung wasn’t captivated.

Because Lee Jihoon wasn’t his style.

Nope, nada, never.

Jihoon’s smile was too pretty. Hoshi wasn’t pleased with the way Jihoon’s smile looked better than his, and ignored the fact that his heartbeat sped up just a little whenever that smile was shot towards him.

Pshh, it didn’t. It just so happened that every time Jihoon smiled at Hoshi, there would always be a scary movie playing behind them and Hoshi would have just so happened to glance back and see the scary jump-scene part. Yup. Every single time.

Okay, maybe that may have been stretching the truth.

Maybe Hoshi did like Jihoon’s smile, a tiny bit. Maybe he liked it when Jihoon’s eyes turned into small crescents, and maybe he liked it when Jihoon’s hands would always clutch Soonyoung's arm in a manner that sent tingles down Hoshi’s spine as he threw his head back and laughed.

But not a lot.
