Foreword

I am walking around the school grounds. Roaming around to be exact. The sun already sets and the blue sky was now replaced by darkness, but the most interesting part was when thousands of sparkling stars appeared. I could just lay here and watch them forever. What a beautiful sight! As I stop near the stairs going to the rooftop of the school, I heard some mumbling sounds- more on whispering. I am not afraid but curiosity strikes on me so I wander my eyes around. It is completely dark in the hallway of this building. When I see nothing I just shrug it off and ready to take the stairs when I heard sounds--- again! But this time it is sobbing sounds.Without hesitation I followed the sounds. I don't think if this way I'm taking was right but I do believe in my instincts, so be it. When I was near at the exit way the sobbing stops. I sigh. I think I am just tired so I am hearing sounds. As I turn around, I heard a girl's voice saying,

"Hyung." It is just a whisper. A silent whisper. Being a curious human, I lean my back on the wall, both hands in my pocket as I continue to listen.

"I... I got to go." Answered by a low voice. Eavesdropping is not my thing but when I heard their voices, there's this magnet pulling me so I stay still.

"Please, hyung! I can't handle this." Again a girl's voice was heard. She is pleading.

"You think I can?! You know how much I love you, right? But this is for the best. Even if it hurts. Just please...let me go."

I think I am listening to a goodbye. The sounds of their voices were low and cracking. This situation is not my business but here I am listening, staring to darkness. Who knows who they are? As I continue to hear the sobbing, I stand straight, started to walk away. This is the saddest ending I heard so far. I am on the corner of the hallway when I heard those seven painful letters came out from the guy's mouth.

"Goodbye."

"Huyng!"

I immediately hid myself in the darkness. A shadow passes by and I knew he left.

I put my hands in both pockets and heave a sigh.

"What a forlorn evening."  As I headed my way to the rooftop.
