It was past midnight and I couldn’t sleep 
so I imagined how a certain conversation with a friend would turn out 
and hell yeah, “I’m going to write about that when I wake up.”  

This story is heavily influenced by Matthew Quick’s Forgive Me Leonard Peacock, 
​Gayle Forman’s If I Stay, and probably two of Murakami’s novels. 

I originally wrote this for my school's literary folio. :)
