Chapter 1: Dream eater huh. Interesting. This fic is a little unsettling. Irene killed seulgi. But irene is oblivious. And greedy. Also i cant make up my mind if yeri is good or bad. Or if she has other ulterior motives and just using logic to try to justify irene's actions to overdose seulgi. But for a dream eater, irene is good. She eats seulgi's nightmare dutifully, even when it tastes so revolting. She snaps, eventually, but its understandable (your cereal analogy sounds horrible). And when irene asked seulgi whats her dream seulgi said she wants to sleep, so irene told her to take a sleeping pill. I still think irene is good up to this point. It may not be what seulgi's dream truly is, but its what she said and irene only helps her achieving it. But she got greedy, and this is what killed seulgi. That part gave goosebumps, the way you describe how the intake of pills increase as days pass.

But at least irene has the decency to feel guilty about it. Not too long, because yeri. And i know hyun can be anyone but like, does that mean joohyun is her past lover? When irene see her dreams when seulgi went into a coma, she saw she was happy. So she finished her meal, she finished seulgi's life. THIS PART MAKES ME PANICK. like oh god no seulgi wants to live, but irene thought she is happy with her past lover. And yeri said it will get even better. So irene drained her and seulgi's taste change because she is no longer alive. She has expired, literally.

Chapter 1: Wow, this had a very interesting development. Took a really grim turn towards the end that I absolutely wasn't expecting, loved it! I'm usually all for fluff and can't process angst very well but this will have to be one of the exceptions (although I felt my heart clench once the whole sleeping pills part started getting messy). I really don't think it would have worked with a "happier" ending.

As always really love your style, being an ER reader I recognized it in a second haha

PS: Yeri gave me the absolute creeps from the very beginning, props to you for building her up that way with such little dialogue (thinking about it though, maybe precisely because of the little dialogue?)

Oh wow. At first i was confused on what was happening, and then it all made sense, but i felt really sad when Irene made Seulgi eat more sleeping pills. This is the first time i encountered this au so thats why i have no idea hahaha.
