    “A-Are you scared?” Wendy breathed, too low for the others to overhear.

    Yeri nodded hesitantly, “Yeah.”

    “Me t-too.”

    “Do you think we’ll be okay?”

    Wendy tried not to think of the millions of ways their plan could go wrong.  How they could be caught and shipped right back to where they had begun, carrying a nasty crime and a heavy punishment. Seulgi marched through the shrubbery as Joy and Irene chatted leisurely behind her.  Wendy nodded at the sight of Irene’s crooked smile -- it was all the reassuring anyone would need.

    “Y-Yeah,” she sighed, only slightly relieved, “we’ll b-be okay.”

Foreword

Hey guys!  So this story is actually kind of a spin-off of Consciousness.

It'll be a one-shot (possibly a multishot, depending on how much I want to reveal about the characters), but the Red Velvet in this story will basically be the girls that you read about in Consciousness, because I'm kind of honestly in love with the depth of their personalities and stuff.

Wendy's still our stuttering mess, Seulgi's hot-headed and angry at emotions, Irene has no emotions, and Joy is sick of being a robot.  The only character I had to tweak was Yeri, because in Consciousness, her life is kind of the "good" one, if you will.

So basically they're the same girls, without the wizard in them.  They're normal girls in this one-shot.

I hope you guys enjoy it!  As for Consiousness, I'll be updating soon c:

Chapter 1: This is beautiful. I'm a reader from Consciousness, and I found this oneshot just as wonderful as the other story. It's a great story of five messed up kids who found solace within each other. I gotta say, using the same characters but in a different setting (without magic) is great. :)
