Tokyo, Japan in 1995.

Six people were gathered in a small room with dim lights. They were sitting at a round table, three of them trying to speak their minds until a man with shoulder length black hair raised his voice. “Be quiet for a moment, everyone. One after the other. We are all grown up people here so let's act like such. I know this is a very sensitive and difficult subject to all of us but this matter is very important and the destiny of our respective kingdoms lays in our hands right now. We need to come to a final decision today..“

“But – You can't expect us to do this! Why does it have to be us? Why not you?“ A fragile looking woman threw in, her eyes teary and red while another man had wrapped his arm gently around her in a comforting manner.

The second woman of the table glared at her and brushed her blonde hair out of her face. “You know the reason very well. How dare you bring this up just now?“

“Shh! Calm down, everyone. Nanami, you really didn't need to bring this up. You two are the only ones that can change the destiny now. I am begging you, please. We will forever be in your debt.“ The man that first raise his voice suddenly spoke in a very gentle tone.

“Yatori, you say something too. Other than keeping your wife back you have been quiet the whole time.“

The red haired man that heard of the name Yatori sighed deeply and lowered his head. “I am sorry, Nanami but we need to do it. Jisang is right. The destiny of both our kingdoms lays in our - “

“And what if it is not?! 'Born under the blood moon', it does not have to be us!“ Nanami shouted and let out a painful sob, her husband instantly tending to her. The two remaining men stayed quiet the whole time. They were not supposed or allowed to interrupt what was discussed.

“Nanami …“ The blonde woman rested her hand on said woman's hand. “You can't expect us either to do that. You know the circumstances and we finally have what we wished for so long. You remember how bad my health was for a while and then there suddenly was this sparkle of hope. You can't have us do it. Please, Nanami. I know it is very difficult and painful but if not for me then do it for the people in Korea and Japan. I am begging you, Nanami.“
