Soon after the vibrant summer rays have begun to warm the day there is a shrill sound, a whistle, and Jiyeon leaps out of bed faster than a rat from a trap. It is the milkman, and if she's not fast that line-up will snake around the compound leaving her with an empty can after her long wait. After a brief fit-full doze she knows that this morning will go according to schedule.

“Hello, noona!”

Or she thought so. In fact, there's no perfect morning if the man standing a step ahead of her unit appears with his creepy smile, showing all his front teeth.

Jiyeon lift up the corner of her upper lip, annoyed. In that moment she funnel all her strength into her hand and use it to shut the door, but the man already knew her too well until she doesn't aware since when he managed to slip himself in.

“I bought your favorite cakes and coffee,” He shows her a big box Jiyeon’s sure it contents of cakes. Not a cake, but cakes!

Jiyeon was tempted but soon she shrugged it off as remembering every time he acts like this, a fine day would turn into complete disaster.”Just leave, I won't help you.”

“Please, noona!” He begged her, kneeling.

The elder just rolls her eyes with crossed arms before making her way toward the couch,”l’m not up for whatever you’re trying to drag me into.”

Taehyung groaned, already desperate.“I promise this would be the last time, noona. I’ll give whatever you want!”

Upon hearing it, she takes a glace over her shoulder, only to find Taehyung bites on his lower lip and his eyes turn glossy with tears. Jiyeon let out a heavy sigh, blaming herself for being weak.”Fine, I’ll help you but let’s eat first,”

“Really?” His expression turned brightly in the blink of eyes.”Yeay! You’re the best noona!”

Jiyeon couldn't wish anything but hope she won't regret her decision.

However, she already did. The granted wish just lasts for half a day. Here, sitting beside Taehyung who's driving her somewhere already created a fire in her eyes, but it’s not the problem. It’s about what happened with her sudden change of appearance, curly hair, full make up along with y clothes revealing her flat belly instead of her thick and rounded spectacles she usually wears.

“How could you do this to me?!”

Taehyung smirk, satisfied for what he’s done to Jiyeon.”You doesn't know how pretty you are, noona. Gosh! Just throw those ugly and fake things!”

“Like hell I would do it.” Jiyeon stick her tongue out.”I’m sure it’s not just about being a company. Tell me the truth.”

Taehyung remains silent while considering should he tell Jiyeon or not.”It’s Jungkook,”

Jiyeon couldn't help but sigh, there wouldn't be words ‘turn back’ for Taehyung.”What did he do to you?” She questioned.

“Last week, he humiliated me in front of people. Out of blue, he asked me for a duel race. Of course, the lack of preparation made me lost completely!” Taehyung explained.”Not only that, but he also stole my girlfriend!”

Jiyeon keeps staring at her cousin. He raised his red laced eyeballs from the street to look at the traffic light, and Jiyeon doesn't need to confirm an anger boiling up inside him.

Jungkook is her junior (a year younger than Jiyeon) in the same major, business, yet she doesn't know much about him; maybe just perfect description everyone keeps blabbering, handsome, rice, smart, talented in racing, tall, has a great build body, hot! okay that’s quite a long list.

“Should I give him a lesson?” When Jiyeon was in the middle of her makeover, Taehyung just asked her for a favor to be his umbrella girl and new (fake) girlfriend. Now, she finds out his reason; wanted to show them that the earlier lost doesn't affect him at all.

“Don't worry, as I said you don't need to do anything, just stick by my side.” He assured her.

Jiyeon nods but deep in her heart, she pitied her cousin. She doesn't care how perfect Jungkook is in everyone’s eyes, for Jiyeon he just spoiled brat who full of himself while his ex girlfriend is such a fool who left a kind guy like Taehyung.

This is the first time seeing Taehyung so broken, shattered really, robbed early of the tape and glue necessary to put his soul back together. The smile he showed couldn't hide them properly.

Jiyeon wouldn't stay still. She has to do something for revenge!

As they get off the car, Jiyeon immediately immerse into her role. She clings on Taehyung’s arm while looking around the area, sill the same as months ago when she was in the bleacher to see Taehyung’s race. At the same time, the younger was being greeted by his team. For a moment they didn’t notice her but soon, like the beetles find a sweet flower their eyes turn sparkling.

“Wow, who is she?” Someone asked.

Taehyung returns their curious look with a sweeter-than-sugar-smile.”My new girl!” He proclaimed.”Today she wants to accompany me as my umbrella girl, so guys excuse me for a moment. I would register her first.”

People walk in this place like the way a gas fills a jar; no matter how few of them there are - all the space will be taken. It's like they are programmed to get as far from one another as possible, make no eye contact and move fast to the destination. However, once Jiyeon passed them, their eyes could not take off from her until there was a man who bumped into other and dropped his bag. Jiyeon's beauty is no joke.

“Yo! Kim Tahyung!” When both of them were waiting Jiyeon to be listed, Jiyeon could hear her cousin's name being called from behind. Jiyeon sees Taehyung’s smirk before the taller guy makes them turn around to see the person who’s calling.

“Oh! Jeon Jungkook! You’re coming too.”

Jiyeon runs her gaze from Jungkook’s feet up to his well styled hair. His left arm is circling around a girl’s waist whose face hardens upon seeing Taehyung. Jiyeon assumes that the girl must be Taehyung’s ex who is now Jungkook’s girl. Jiyeon’s eyes goes back to Jungkook’s face and makes a contact with his eyes. Right that moment, Jiyeon is aware that the man in front of him is checking on her up and down as well. Jungkook’s smile and lip aren’t left unnoticed by Taehyung and Jiyeon.

“So... this is your new girl?” Jungkook keeps staring at Jiyeon with kind of dark eyes that makes Jiyeon uncomfortable.

“Well, thanks to you I can get someone better.”

Without a warning, Taehyung lands a small kiss on Jiyeon’s cheek. Jiyeon laughs quietly while hitting Taehyung’s arm quite hard. The girl on Jungkook’s side looks affected by it as she stomps her feet then leaves, probably sulking, but Jungkook does nothing to follow her.
