Cadence's mother told her ever since she was young back then, she was smart and had great strategy in almost every subject, aces in every single thing. She could even answer the mortal's world most hardest question. Cadence wasn't that type of lady to get into trouble like other kids in her school, she had problems with socialising half of her life, she hasnt been able to speak well to anyone without feeling nervous, Cadence who had inherited her mother's personality traits, intelligence were running through her blood, powerful in battling just like her mother, athena, goddess of battle, wisdom, battle strategy and handicrafts, hence her mother didn't worry about cadence that much. A maiden with proportional body shape making her body look slender, with eyes that looked like shards of glass that could pierce through one's heart.

The City was set on fire, dead bodies scatter around the ground of the city. Cadence was in school in her hideout protecting the friends she could only protect. ❝ Cadence, My favourite child, its time you shine!❞ she felt the palm of her mother's on the pair of her rosy cheeks, its as thought if a silhouette of her mother athena touched her guiding her out of this mess that the mortals on earth, created. It was as though if it was a platform to show her talents off. Unlike any child on earth, Cadence was a child of the mythology goddess, athena. Originally, athena wanted to hide cadence away from everyone else it was as though if cadence was her treasure, her only child that she wants to protect. Hence, Cadence never knew she was descendants of a powerful goddess, neither she did ever realise that she had powers that were unbelievable. The last safest place was the door of the church, Cadence told her friends to move, as she carries a child behind the back of hers, pool of blood, spluttering out from the new dead bodies terrified most of the people she had to protect, ❝ Close your eyes, and listen to me, don't be afraid, we can get through this, tell yourself. ❞ she places her hands on the few classmate who ran with her, comforting them.

Her eyes were as though there were flames burning, an unexplaninable anger was set on her heart. Why of all disaster, but war have to be fall on her city? Cadence guided the students back to her home. There were muffled cries, screaming and gunshots could be heard as though it would slience the mortal land. ❝ Mother!❞ The female yells for her mother looking around, with fear, afraid of losing the one and only closest person she has on this world of bloodshed. Her mother, sat right at the corner of the broken building, she was fine sitting there with tears rolling down to her pale skin cheeks, ❝Cadence, My lovely child!❞ Athena immediately embraces the young child into her arms. Unlike the usual mother she was, letting out a sigh, she bought the other kids to the church as well as cadence. Infront of the familar, god that was nailed onto the cross sign, athena kneeled next to cadence.

❝You are a special one my child, remember?❞ Athena bought both her hands placing onto the pair of rosy cheeks that her daughter has,  The mythology histories you study in classes were real, Cadence. You are the offspring of the Goddess of war, you have great IQs mainly its why you are smart, being able to ace in every single subject you needed to survive in this mortal world. ❞ Cadence's eyes widen, a mixture of emotion filled her heart, as her mother spoke.  My dear child, its time for you to go, to the place where all deity offsprings are training, a Sanctuary place for offsprings like you. the Descendants. A place which two motherly loving goddess will protect you from any danger you face.❞ Cadence couldn't believe what her mom told her. She stare at her mom, with a pair of eyes not believing what her mother told her.  Fear not my child, what i have told you are the truth that i have never told you since young, i thought there was never a day like this. But its happening to you. Whatever is happening now, will end right as you step into the gates of descendants.

Mid-Evening.

The time where cadence bought her things, entering the camp site alone with her stuffs, she entered the sanctuary place with a nervous thumping heart, but a smile was plastered on her face, knowing the war on the mortal has ended.
