who's got spirit?

cheerleaders. also known as: the bimbos, the girls without brains, where all the hot girls are at, the mean girls, etc. kyeonghwa high's cheer team has been the niche item of the school since the early days of the school's opening, with its glory days lasting from 2012 to 2014, their team winning gold in every competition they participated in and them holding their position as overall winner for two years straight. 

until the seniors all graduated. you'd think with such an elite title the whole team'd be stellar in their skills, but while the juniors did have their fair share of prowess, what they lacked was the synergy the seniors had, unspoken of between them. and so in september 2015, for the first time in kyeonghwa history, the cheer team dropped out of the annual incheon interschool cheer competition within the first round.

needless to say, it was detrimental to the team in every single way. just because you're in the same 'team' doesn't mean you actually have to be friends, right? so the lying began. the cheating began. the pointing fingers began, and the sabotaging began. the team was a mess, and much to the thrill of other kyeonghwa high students who had always had a dislike for the members, their position in the social hierarchy of the school suffered too. 

it's 2016 now. newly elected team captain bae seorim definitely has her work cut out for her. after all, you know what they say - team that sticks together, wins together. and right now, the team is anything but one.
