Sungjong's eyes widened as he saw who his savior is. He blinked a few times then he proceed what just happened. He almost got by some random guy and he was saved by none other than Kim Sunggyu. He was still shocked about the turn of events. He couldn't move a single muscle and didn't utter a single word. Sunggyu sighed, then he squat in front of Sungjong and pushed the away from Sungjong, roughly to the side, and collected his scattered clothing and he it into Sungjong's hand. Then he pat Sungjong's shoulder in a form of sympathy and got up then left Sungjong in the alley.

It took few minutes for Sungjong to snap out of his stupor. When he finally did, he looked down to his body, then he hastily put on his outfits. He decided to just return back out of the alley and take a normal path instead as he's still traumatized and scared. The sky has darkened a little bit and he walked in quick footsteps towards his home. 

When Sungjong reached his house, he went straight to  his room and his phone. Calling Jessica

"Yoboseyo" Jessica's voice could be heard from Sungjong's phone

"Yaaa!! You really are not going to believe what happened to me today" Sungjong doesn't even bother to reply to Jessica's greeting as his mind is not quite settled down just yet

"What?! Did something happened? Tell meeee right now!" 

"Well it's a long story.. Make sure no one is around you arasseo?" 

"Ara! Just tell me now.. It sounds important..." 

Sungjong took a deep breath as he told every single happening after he parted from Jessica, not missing any details.

"Mwooo?!!!!??! You almost got ??? I knew I shouldn't leave you alone. You are just too attractive! Mianhaeeee!!! But wait...You are talking about Kim Sunggyu the gamer from our class right?" Jessica talked in her famous high pitched voice when she's in panic and Sungjong has to take his phone farther from his ears a little bit

"Calm down Jessiii.. it's really not your fault.. it's just because I made mistake of taking the shortcut today.. and I'm both relieved and regret it now.. and yes he is.. can't you believe it?! He must have cared for me a little bit that he save me.. do you think he is following me?" Sungjong said, thrilled. His heart beating fast from both adrenaline and excitement

"Buuutt if I went with you todayy...-"

"Then we will both be ? Hahaha... really.. stop blaming yourself.. at least I am okay right.. I'm not taking that shortcut ever again!"

"You're right... hmph I still feel bad though! And anyway Lee Sungjong! How many times had I tell you not to get your hopes too high! You know how he is.. do you think he will choose you over his stupid games?" Jessica talked in a scolding tone with Sungjong as she didn't want her best friend to be hurt

"Who will ever know right.. you know.. he is making me fall in love with him even more..." Sungjong said in a dreamy voice that made Jessica gagged a bit

"Aishh you're really hopele-"

"Sungjong!! Dinner's ready come down here!" Sungjong's mom shouted from downstair, calling for Sungjong

"Aahhh.. My mom is calling for dinner.. aaahhh I'm staaarving.. talk to you tomorrow at school okay? Bbye Jessie mmuah" Sungjong said, still giddy and excited

"Aish! Okay bye! Muah" 

While walking down the stairs, Sungjong contemplated whether he should tell his family about today's happening or not. He finally decided not to as he was not comfortable telling his problems to his parents.

°back to Sunggyu a few hours before when he was still in the internet cafe°

"Ya! Ya! Sungyeol-ah cover me! That crazy sorcerer is after me again!" Sunggyu said loudly to Sungyeol who sat directly beside him

"Yeah! Yeah I'm coming over there! Hold on!" Sungyeol replied in the same volume as they clicked on their mouse and keyboard furiously

Their characters move with fast speed on the screen, as Sungyeol's character reached Sunggyu's and the crazy sorcerer chasing him so they started fighting the sorcerer together. As the sorcerer HP dropped low, with one last hit they defeated the sorcerer and then suddenly, their computer shut down. Loud screams of frustration can be heard throughout the cafe

"We're really sorry.. There are electricity shut down in this area as of now..The cafe has to be closed early today.. Once again we're really sorry about the inconvenience." The operator notified them

"Not againn!! And when we almost got to kill that sorcerer too!" Sunggyu grabbed his hair in frustration

"Yeahhh!! This is crazy...Let's just go home then" Sungyeol got up from his table followed by Sunggyu to pay at the cashier

As they had different way to their house, they parted ways. 

Sunggyu took his normal path by the alley, he walked calmly in no rush as he stuffed his hands in his pocket. When he got farther into the alley, he saw something weird happening. There was a suspicious guy hovering over another person with fair complexion and it seems their clothes are already taken off, too. Taking on the clue that a is happening, he walked slowly near them, he spotted a wooden log near their location. He silently took them and walked slowly in their direction. He hit the straight on the neck, effectively making the man unconscious. And he saw who is beneath the , he is shocked, but still managed to keep his expression even. Sungjong stared in shock at Sunggyu, making him uncomfortable. Few minutes passed in silence and Sunggyu sighed.

He squatted down in front of them and he pushed the roughly to the side, still angry at how could someone , especially someone as innocent as Sungjong. He noticed the current state of Sungjong, he also noticed how every inch of his skin is exposed, making him blush. Quickly, he gathered Sungjong's clothing in his own arms, then he hastily put them in Sungjong's arms. And he quickly stood up and took his leave before more weird thoughts appear.

When he got to his house, he unlocked the door and he went to take ice cold water and quickly drank it, to clear his mind and calm his beating heart. 

It's just because I'm finding someone almost and that I hit that bastard that my heart is beating so fast. Not because of other reason. Yeah... that must be it.

He tried to convince himself the reason for his fast heartbeat. He looked around the house and not at all shocked that his parents aren't around as they usually got home by 9PM. He went to his room and laid on his bed. He still couldn't shake off the thought about Sungjong's body, that has unnatural curves which he never found on his own body or any other male's. It made him curious and excited for reasons, that he didn't know. He heard his stomach growling and he decided that he was going out again to eat and also clear his mind.

°the day after @school°

Sunggyu arrived a little early again today, since he got to sleep a lot, yesterday. He made his way to sit on his seat. Not too long, after he had sat on his seat, he saw that Sungjong approaching him. He tensed immediately, the time thoughts of the boy's body entered his mind. Sungjong looked alright, he isn't showing any kind of fear that he had seen, yesterday

"Sunggyu-ssi... I wanted to properly thank you for saving me yesterday.. if you didn't help I wouldn't know what happend to me..." Sungjong stood in front of Sunggyu's seat nervously as his fingers twiddled with the tip of his uniform hem. The gratitude warms Sunggyu's heart a little bit as he offered a small smile for Sungjong, his body still looking a little stiff albeit relaxed a bit

"It's okay I was just passing by yesterday. " If Sunggyu wasn't so intently looking at the wall behind Sungjong and stare at Sungjong's face instead he would notice that Sungjong's smile faltered a bit and his face showing a little disappointment before smiling again

"Really thank you.. if you ever need my help I will help you.." Sungjong said

"I get it.. it's really no problem." The atmosphere got more awkward with the lack of the subjects between the two. Sungjong got uncomfortable, so he ended their conversation even though he wanted to talk with Sunggyu a little bit longer. 

I'll make sure to talk with him more later. I don't want to creep him out.

"Okay then. Once again thank you.." Sungjong bows and took his leave with flushed cheeks.

The classes passed by as now it is break time. Their teacher told Sunggyu to go to his office, Sunggyu looks unchanged bored when he followed the teacher.

"Hmm.. I wonder why the teacher called for Sunggyu..." Sungjong wondered as he turns towards Jessica

"How am I supposed to know.. Maybe about his gaming addiction? I'm huungry let's go to canteen." She got out of the table and ready to walk

"No... I'm really curious why the teacher calls him.. Maybe it's something serious... We have to follow them." Sungjong said with determination in his eyes

"Why should we.. It's really not our business.." Jessica sighs and rolls her eyes at her bestfriend's antics.

"Pleasseeeee come with me.. Or I'm going to die curious." Sungjong begs to Jessica as he held onto her uniform while making puppy eyes.

"Okaay.. But you have to treat my lunch today then?" Jessica offers up her part of the bargain

"No problem. Let's goo before they go too far away.." Sungjong pulled Jessica towards the teacher's room.

When they reach their teacher's room, they saw Sunggyu just had entered. They stood in an empty hallway, since students usually stay in class or canteen during breaks. It was very quiet too.. They carefully leaned towards the door to hear the conversation between Sunggyu and the teacher

"Kim Sunggyu. Do you know why I personally called you here?" The teacher said in a not so pleasant tone

"No" Sunggyu replied in nonchalant tone. Uncaring of the teacher upcoming wrath. Sungjong on the outside of the classroom bit his lip

"You know, your grades keep dropping this past two years. For three semesters your grades are considered very bad. And last year you barely even made it. If it's not for the teacher's mercy you would fail most of your class. Since we believe you're actually smart. But if you keep this up we will not be able to help any more." The teacher sighed, hoping that Sunggyu would get his message loud and clear.

"I don't actually need any of your help." Sunggyu again kept his tone even, without any care. The teacher's eyes widened and he almost sputtered nonsense

"Kim Sunggyu this is regarding your time in this school. If you keep this attitude no one would be able to help you. You know our school rules. You will be dropped out from this school if your grade this semester is still the same." The teacher said, making Sungjong gasp. Sungjong's eyes widened as he looked at Jessica, they shared a concerned stare

"I don't really care about it." Sunggyu again said monotonously. 

"That's it! Its up to you now. I'm sending your parent a letter regarding this. You can leave now." 

"Okay." Sunggyu got up, then he bowed to the teacher and left the room. As Jessica and Sungjong heard their conversation they also scurried off, not wanting to get caught

Sunggyu got out of the room, and when he's out he released a sigh, and he saw Jessica and Sungjong running. He shrugged.

This is what I want, right ? I only need to drop out of this school. I don't even care about my parents any more. It doesn't seem like they care anyway.

°Sungjong and Jessica @canteen°

After they ordered their food and secured a table they are having a conversation

"No way! Sunggyu can't be dropped out of this school. This is our last year!" Sungjong said frantically

"I know...But what can we do anyway. He doesn't even think about anything but that game." Jessica replied while she munched on her pasta

"I have to help him. It's the least I can do! He helped me from that yesterday...." Sungjong said with determination in his eyes. His food long forgotten

"Are you sure about this? Do you even think he will listen to you?"

"I don't really know.. but I will try.. I can't let him drop out.. what will his future be.. and also it is his last year!! I'm going to help him no matter how hard it is.."

"Aaaahh you're really hopeless!! Okay then if that's what you want.. are you not going to eat your food.. if you're not then I can eat it for you." Jessica's finger start to approach Sungjong's lunch but then got swatted away by Sungjong who suddenly remembered that he was hungry

"Ya! I'm going to eat it now.. " Sungjong secured his food then started eating it. Earning a laugh from Jessica, then Sungjong can't hold back his laughter too at being teased by his bestfriend

Heyaaa guys! I'm updating the fic XD I actually want to add more scene into this chapter but I kinda feel like that part is fit to be the end of the chapter so, I'll end it there.. I promise next chapter will have some Gyujong moments.. wait foor it! I hope you like iit~ comment ur thoughts please.
