Yuta's crush on the Chinese transfer student two years below himself wasn't exactly news two him (or to any of his friends). 

In fact, this crush had started the day the boy had stumbled into the wrong classroom, Yuta's classroom, a year and apologised in an accent so thick the words he spoke were nearly impossible to understand. The boy had looked so small and fragile that it has been hard to not just embrace him and protect him from the horrors of the world, right then and there. Fortunately, for his own social life and the Chinese's mental state, he hadn't.

But now a year had past, Yuta had seen the boy a hundred times, grinned at him just to get that shy, embarrassed smile that he always got back, "accidentally" brushed hands with him a few times while crossing in the hallways and once even going up to him to start a conversation, Yuta was missing one important detail;
