Day One
Gift of LoveIt was only yesterday when Taecyeon oppa joined 2PM. It felt like a couple of days, but no. From Nickhun oppa, I heard that Taecyeon oppa was doing well in 2PM. That reminds me, is he alive or not? I thought to myself as I walked along with Yuri unnie and Jessica unnie. My thoughts were disturbed by Yuri unnie, asking me who I liked. I blinked my eyes, clueless of why she was talking about this.
"Why?" I asked. Jessica unnie giggled while Yuri unnie looked seriously in my eyes.
"Do you like Donghae oppa or Nickhun oppa?" Yuri asked me. I thought for a moment. Why are they asking me these stupid questions? I thought to myself again. I looked at Yuri unnie once more.
"Er... I guess I like Donghae oppa more than Nickhun oppa?" I replied. Yuri quickly sighed in relief while Jessica unnie is glaring at me. I do NOT like her glares. I waved my hands frantically.
"BUT! I said I like Donghae oppa more! Not I love him!" I protested. Jessica unnie took that safely and also sighed in relief.
"Yoona, you are so~ lucky! You have two boys falling deeply in love with you! How romantic!" Yuri unnie exclaimed. I gave her a small laugh, feeling awkward about this situation. Luckily, a car passed by us and it was Taecyeon oppa! Thanks again, oppa! I clapped. Like when we were young, he always came to my rescue ^^
"Hop on," Taecyeon oppa offered. I hoped on the front seat while Yuri and Jessica unnie went in the back seat. The car started to move again, and it was quiet. Someone please break this silence! I begged.
"So how are you today?" Taecyeon oppa asked politely. I smiled at him. It was like he could read my mind clearly every single time. As if he was a ghost, I added.
"I'm fine. You?" I asked back. Taecyeon oppa shrugged.
"Okay. I never knew that coming back here would make my life so different! I mean, I'm a star! I was a little kid, and look at me-- I'm all grown up! I-" I stopped Taecyeon oppa by covering his mouth. He widened his eyes as Jessica unnie and Yuri unnie stared at me strangely. I mouthed them, "He's funny, right?" I laughed heartedly while I uncovered Taecyeon oppa's mouth. He glared at me, but somehow, it was warm. I winced and mouthed him a sorry. He nodded and continued to drive. The ride was again silent. I started to feel awkward, so I started up a conversation.
"So, what kind of ice cream do you like, Oppa?" I asked. He stared dreamingly, thinking about his ice cream.
"Wow, the ice creams here are totally different from Heaven! I mean, they are tasty and all, but-" I covered his mouth again. I smiled at Yuri and Jessica unnie, who started to feel awkward. Anything I started with Taecyeon oppa or even with my unnies, it always had to include him about his death. I was miserable. Luckily, Jessica unnie, Yuri unnie, and I made it to the building and left Taecyeon. Before we left, I whispered to Taecyeon.
"Oppa, please stay safe. You've caused me to many trouble," I whispered to his ears. Taecyeon smiled at me.
"Okay, arraso. First, give me a kiss," he said. I widened my eyes.
"Oppa!" I said, slapping him lightly. I felt myself turning red.
"Only on the cheek! Then I'll be acting like a human," Taecyeon oppa teased. I held myself back. You can't, Yoona! You just can't! I looked at Taecyeon oppa's pleading eyes. I relaxed my muscles a bit. Well, I guess you can. I mean, it's only on the cheeks, right? He's your friend, right? I leaned against him as he waited for a teasing kiss. I quickly gave him a soft kiss on his cheeks and thanked him for the ride.
"No problem," Taecyeon oppa said, grinning widely. I guess he was really happy about my kiss. I ran towards Yuri and Jessica unnie. They had eyes that were as big as cats.
"You kissed him?" Yuri unnie whispered.
"Nope. Only on a cheeks. It's a friend kiss," I explained. Yuri unnie and Jessica unnie nodded slowly, as we entered the building. Hey, I guess that kiss wasn't that bad on his cheeks. I slapped myself. What's wrong with you, Yoona! It's only a kiss! I might have to think about that kiss for sometime. That kiss felt different, not those Mom or Dad kisses.
