Ira Vaughn, a young female surgeon who lives for her craft. Her strong attitude and cold but caring heart is the exact opposite of what her co-workers expected when she starts working at a foreign hospital.  A hospital that has seemed to lose is heart is given a wake up call. As Ira fights to pump life back into the corrupt and unsettling hospital; feelings Ira has never had before start to emerge. Afraid these feelings will interrupt her work, she begins an internal tug of war. 

"Why would you tell the patient's guardian such a thing?" Jongin almost yelled, staring at me.

"It's the truth." I answered.

"But now they are preparing for the worst!"

I scoffed, "It's better to be prepared for the worst, than betting on the empty words of a unsure doctor."
