Description
Seo Joo Hyun (Seohyun) has always had terrible luck when Christmas came around. When she was younger, she was constantly catching colds and was unable to play outside with the other children. In middle school, she tripped in P.E. and broke her leg. In high school, she was rejected by a popular sunbae at her school and spent the whole day sobbing and gobbling up chocolate ice-cream. Now as a full-fledged adult, that bad luck might finally be disappearing. Her best friend, Yoona, has set her up on a blind date with Jung Jinwoon, a sweet gentleman. The date goes smoothly and he even wants to meet her again. Could her Christmas bad luck finally be disappearing? Haha, NOPE.
The bad luck strikes when she arrives at her apartment. In her apartment, she is shocked to find a man with a knife. Ready to take a bat and beat the living daylights out of the guy, Seohyun is stopped with a kiss from the mysterious man. Who is he? Well, his name is Jung Yonghwa and he's decided that he'll be living at her apartment now.

Seo Joo Hyun (Seohyun)
A 24-year old English teacher that's always had terrible luck when Christmas came around. Seohyun is sweet and smart, usually keeping calm in all situations. Her temper does unleash when she's with Yonghwa, who is the complete opposite of her ideal guy. She softens up to Yonghwa a bit after hearing his story and singing. Has been single her whole life, but she thinks that she can change that with Jinwoon. Her hobbies are cleaning and reading.
Jung Yonghwa
A 25-year old homeless guy that is aiming to become a singer. He's been to many auditions, but failed all of them. Since he was kicked out of his home, Yonghwa lived on the street and slept in saunas. After starving to the point where he's ready to die, Yonghwa desperately looked around for an apartment and coincidentally found Seohyun's, which was luckily unlocked. He convinces her to let him live with her until he passes an audition. His hobbies are singing and sleeping.
Ahn Sohee
Sohee is a girl from Yonghwa's hometown that is completely infatuated with him. She follows him to Seoul and is immediately takes a disliking to Seohyun, calling her a for trying to live with her Yong-oppa. She, herself, moves into Seohyun's apartment, much to Seohyun's grief. Although bratty and spoiled, Sohee eventually befriends Seohyun. Her hobbies are reading fashion magazines and watching TV.
Jung Jinwoon
Jinwoon is a kind and handsome guy that is in love with Seohyun. He is unaware of the fact that Seohyun is living with Yonghwa and is generally a dense person. He is constantly sending gifts to Seohyun and is the son to a doctor and lawyer. He eventually gives up on Seohyun after seeing who she really loves. His hobbies are reading and golf.
Im Yoona
Yoona is Seohyun's cheerful and bubbly best friend from elementary school. Unlike the timid Seohyun, Yoona is outgoing and attracts all the guys instantly. She is stubborn and is always trying to find romance for Seohyun. Yoona particularly dislikes Sohee, who she claims is an interfernce to her best friend's love life. Her hobbies are dancing and shopping.
Park Shin Hye
Yonghwa's former crush from his hometown. Sohee warns Seohyun that she should be careful of Shin Hye. Shin Hye comes to Seoul to take Yonghwa back and marry him. She is beautiful and cunning, often trying to fool Yonghwa into thinking that Seohyun is a . Shin Hye is a fashion designer.
