The top classes of Royal Academy, EXO and Red One, have always hated each other, with the exception of some. When the Headmaster finally had enough with the two classes' endless bickering, especially when the latest prank that was pulled by Red One's very own leader, he puts EXO and Park Hyunae in one classroom to study, as a form of Hyunae's punishment. If anyone disobeys his rules, they are to be instantly kicked out of the school. His rules are simple though:
1. Take care of each other.
2. Don't start World War 3.
3. All of the above.
Park Hyunae and Kim Jongin cannot seem to follow the rules. They hate each others guts. It was no doubt that they were the best of friends. Everything they did together was pushed away after the unspeakable incident that happened years ago. On the other hand, Park Chanyeol is absolutely ecstatic that the love of his life will only be a few footsteps away from him. He doesn't really care of what his friends think of him being associated with the enemy, he's just a boy on Cloud 9.
What happened between Jongin and Hyunae? Will they still be each others' enemy, or perhaps will they fall in love? What about Hyunae and Chanyeol? Will they ever move past the friendzone? But most importantly, who will win Hyunae's heart? At Royal Academy, nobody really knows what lies ahead.

Hello everyone! I am Neth, short for Nethelie, and this is my very first fanfic on AFF.
I got inspired to write Royals because I've always enjoyed, as cheesy as it is, reading books with the classical love triangle. Dramas like The Heirs, Boys Over Flowers, and many more inspired me to write a high school type of love story with this hierachy system going on. In the midst of all the drama, there were always many enjoyable moments, in any shape or form.
Also I wrote this for self-entertainment and to challenge myself. I want to improve on my writing a lot. A little spoiler, but my story will contain many themes. If you do read this story, I hope that you will be able to use what you learn and apply it in real life.
Please do be patient with me because English is not my first language. This story contains foul language.
