BACKSTAGE ACTS     Below are the characters who float behind the scenes and act as Night Circus’ anchor when the members feel like they’re not doing enough or not feeling any better. Most of them were chosen by the Founding Board to be mentors, managers, and makeup/hair stylists, but one (or two) of the newest staff members was specifically chosen by the members of Night Circus themselves to help create a bigger and more fun family. There were some trial and errors as well as other issues with this proposition, but the Founding Board approved of their first group’s decision and decided to hire their recommendation.

Position: Full-time Manager of Night Circus

Sunyoung is considered the eldest of the First Five but she definitely doesn’t show it. She’s the odd, caring type, being the more direct and physically caring of the two managers, and is always making sure each of the members are, at the very least, comfortable and well taken care of. She’s the one who takes her job seriously and most of Night Circus’ schedules have to be approved through her before the offers or events are presented to the members, which isn’t odd, but considering the members have the final say in what they do or don’t do, that’s pretty odd in the idol world. While Hyunchul is the one making sure the Night Circus members get to wherever Home Base is, Sunyoung is the one making sure everything is going according to schedule with (hopefully) enough time to spare. She doesn’t mind the members eventually dating. She just doesn’t want them to be exposed.   PJH Name: Park, Jiho

Position: Rapping Coach, Producer, Composer

As the second eldest in the First Five, Jiho is considered the blunt and strict rapping coach to those in KB Entertainment. He seems laidback at first glance but the more he looks bored, the more his critiques are going to hurt. Though, it’s strange how Hyemi has taken a liking to him, but it’s probably due to similar backgrounds and how he was once an underground rapper himself. Outside of the studio, he’s an interesting fellow who loves wine and sometimes looks lost half the time, simply walking around and taking the time to appreciate his surroundings and beauty. This is probably the reason why Min likes hanging out with him more when he’s not in the studio instead of in.   NHC Name: Na, Hyunchul

Hyunchul is considered the snarky middle child of the First Five, though his aura is one that demands attention and respect from the members of Night Circus (most of the time anyways). He appears warm and inviting, a good friend to talk to, but once the barrier of stranger to acquaintance is breached, his knack for being snarky and borderline rude is shown (though the rest of the First Five believe this is due to him trying to counteract Sunyoung’s slightly older sister nature and become the older brother in the family). He shows Night Circus tough love and tries with all his hidden heart to protect them whenever he can from anything harmful in the idol
