Joy and her two friend Jennie and Sana has been friends since childhood and are always together, they do almost everything together like sisters. Joy, Jennie and Sana grew up knowing Hanbin, Taeyong and Zelo since they all attend the same school all throughout until high school. Joy and Taeyong kept their relationship quiet and let no one know of their relationship, Jennie and Hanbin didn't keep it quiet as they were let everyone know about their relationship, Sana and Zelo only let close friends know about their relationship.
