Papa Wolf is what all of the children called him.

They had taken to lovingly referring to him as Papa, for their own fathers had cast them aside like so much trash and wolf for the great coat he wore, made from the skin of a great white wolf.

Long before she had come to work at the hallowed castle for Suho, for that was the name he had been given at birth, he had began taking in wayward children to care for and watch over. At first, many in the village thought it indecent for a young woman to take on the position of governess in the household of an unattached man, but she didn’t mind what other people thought of her. It wasn't long however, that after seeing how happy the children were, public opinion soon began to say in their favor. Having grown up an orphan herself, a loving environment was of the utmost importance to her. It was usually just the two of them and the children inhabiting the large estate, but she enjoyed taking care of them and Suho, when he would allow it.

Suho himself was very agreeable. He was handsome and kind, but more often than not he was too weak to spend much time with the children. Just a bit of play was all he could manage before he would be out of breath, forcing him to return to bed. She would assure his comfort and then leave him to sleep, sometimes for days at a time.
