He was hers and she was his; a mark that was now both embedded into their skin in the form of clock. Its body, its hands and its numbers. Something that meant eternity together but incomplete without the other. Able to work on its own as a single item but only beautiful when both parts are combined.
That's how it was.

DANI'S NOTE.
"till life do us part" is a short story series that one of my bestfriends and i wrote together about a year or two ago. our characters are japanese in the original version, with their names being ueno mayami (maya) and azume/hitsugawa keiko (kei). but, because i wanted to use k-idol faceclaims for this version, i've tweaked the names and setting a little to fit the ethnicity. the story, overall, remains the same. it's a collaborated story, as it began as a roleplay between mi amiga and i, and it isn't really complete. it jumps from different points in the story, going from three different times, locations and another into their future. i don't really know if this is considered a short story series though as it's kind of just one-shots??? that are interconnected?? idek if i can call them chapters either because they're not really- or- hmn- i YEAH IDK but YEAH PMSL. it's a story that my friend and i thoroughly enjoyed writing. we put as much emotion and connection to our characters as we could. i simply hope that sharing this can somehow make you feel attached to them as much as we are.
in all honesty, it might not be very good (as the writing is old, the ending is still undecided, open-ended and may not even happen at all!!!) but, i'm still ready to share it. even if we never plan on finishing.
