Description

Hakyeon's just a wallflower, especially after his sister recklessly drove the two over a cliff leaving Hakyeon disabled without the sense of hearing. Silence. It could've driven him insane at one point and he's ready to give up. When a new volunteer named 'Leo' enters the hospital, Hakyeon is determined to hear his voice and the melodic notes he'd play on the piano for Hakyeon each day. 

Taekwoon has social anxiety and he'd rather not listen to people who forces him to speak. After leaving home without his parent's consent, Taekwoon is forced to volunteer at the hospital with his mother for at least three hours a day. After crossing paths with a deaf boy who rather not speak to him but listen to Taekwoon speak, the young volunteer is determined that this 'Hakyeon' is his true soulmate, even when he wouldn't voice it out loud.

But, when a murderer runs wild in the hospital, aiming to kill the young boy after trying to kill them both in a car crash, Taekwoon and Hakyeon must find who the man truly is with only a few descriptions before the murderer slaughters everyone in the hospital, including them. 

 

 
 
An early morning and the blazing sun glaring through the thin vanilla colored curtains is what Hakyeon awake even after he forced himself to snuggle deeper into his pillow and thin blankets and fall back into the deep sleep with a vague dream he was currently enjoying. But, living in a house with three noisy siblings can always keep one awake and potentially, all night. Hakyeon groans, rolling himself around the empty bed and sits up, one eye kept shut to keep the bright rays of sunlight out of his sensitive eye. Hakyeon lets out an annoyed huff, feeling the vibrations of voices prickling against each and every bone of his body, but there is no sound. Letting out a surprised gasp, Hakyeon starts to speak, but even with his own voice, no sound seemed to come streaming through his ears. 
 
That's right, Hakyeon reminds himself as he sits on the hospital bed, secluded from everyone else, you can't hear anymore. You're not even at home. It's all a dream. Hakyeon lays back down onto he comfortable matress, a frown starting to etch on his features. He's been in this dreaded place for days already, and he sees the same things everyday. He even sees the same people. The nurses visit him and he doubt that they have never chattered behind his back before. Hakyeon wants a change and he wants to see someone different other than the doctors and nurses that linger in the hallways.

Author's Note: 

Hello! I wanted to try something new and more of a...slice of life kind of thing so this is what I came up with. It's not my first time writing since I already have another fanfic posted and it's still running. Whilst I'm working on the second chapter for that, wanted to try something new as stated before so I'm trying to do something more realistic and more "onto Earth" since my other story's plotline consisted of Angel assassins and popular Hallyu stars getting murdered by a government-approved group of serial killers.

Side Note: At first, this will seem more like angst, but it's supposed to be a romance thing with sprinkles of cringe-worthy fluff and action.

Chapter 2: I reread this and I have many theories. But, why does the murderer want to kill Hakyeon? Is his sister still alive? (Blue hair definitely reminds me of Ravi...)
