Jooheon and Minhyuk had been friends for a long while already. They met each other during mid-September which is the first day of school.

It was on Dream High. September 18 when they met each other. Minhyuk then was 13 while Jooheon is only 11. They are both transferees so the two of them had to hang out with each other to familiarize themselves. Eventually, the two became bestfriends.

But Jooheon seemed to love Minhyuk even beyond friendship and he had kept it for awhile now that they are already at their early 20's. The two got into the same boy group which is called Monsta X.

Minhyuk who is now 23 became the group's charming face and vocal while Jooheon became the group's crazy gorilla rapper... since they joined the entertainment, Jooheon had noticed that Minhyuk became much closer with Kihyun and is now barely talking with him so he had grown jealous with the two and sticked with their group's maknae, Changkyun.

The group had their new comeback, Hero and today, they won their first award. Everyone in the dorm is happily cheering. Even the manager and the staffs and their sunbaes, too.

Kihyun had been the group's mother-image  and he promised the kids that he would cook lots of chickens when they got their first award but he's kinda sick right now so to make it up with the members, he thought of a good idea.

"Minhyeong!" He called Minhyuk and Minhyuk went to him instantly, "Since I can't cook today, can you do me a favor?"

"Yes of course, Hyunnie. What is it?"

"I want to treat you guys but I can't go out. Maybe you could buy foods and I'll just give you money?"

"Of course, I can." Kihyun smiled as he handed some credits to Minhyuk. He said that he could buy anything they want.

Each of the members suggested foods to buy. Minhyuk listed them all on a paper and he settled to go outside when Jooheon approached him.

"Hyung!" Minhyuk looked at Jooheon uncertainly. The two of them haven't talked for a while that's why he's not used with the two of them talking anymore.

"Eo?" He replied but the curiousity in his eyes stayed.

"Maybe I could accompany you? And maybe we could talk?" Minhyuk didn't answered but he nodded and the two of them walked silently on the empty streets.

They were walking for quite some distance already and both of them had thoughts on their mind that is bothering them.

"Hyung..."

"Heonie--"

They spoke at the same time and silence, once again, enveloped them for a while.

"You go first, Heonie."

Jooheon sighed and he looked down as the both of them started to walk again in a much more slower pace.

"Hyung... you know... we haven't talked for a while and--" he stopped. Unsure if he wanted to continue what he wanted to say.

"And?" Minhyuk noticed so he spoke to tell Jooheon to go on and proceed.

"-- I miss you already." Jooheon sighed while Minhyuk started to feel in awe.

Sure it was his fault that the two of them haven't talk lately but he have to admit that he misses the cute Heonie who plays with him from time to time.

"Is that all?" The younger nodded. "Can I talk already?"

"Of course hyung..."

Minhyuk stopped walking as they reached the restaurant. Jooheon, too, stopped walking. Confused as he looks around and back at Minhyuk. They are across the restaurant and not many people could notice them there because it's dark.

"Heonie." Minhyuk started, "Actually I've been missing you, too."

"But you're always with Kihyun hyung--"

"Yes, I'm always with him because I badly wanted to avoid you the past few days..." Jooheon's eyes wandered onto Minhyuk's. As if searching what emotions the older is hiding but he can't decipher anything so he decided to ask.

"But why would you avoid me?"

"Because I want to get rid of something. Something really really impossible, Heonie..." What? Get rid of me? What did I ever do wrong-- Jooheon had many thoughts but he can't spit it out because he is feeling really disappointed right now.

"We've been bestfriends for a long while. I thought this might ruin our friendship." Minhyuk continued talking. "But now that I know that I couldn't afford to get rid of this, let me tell you something, Lee Jooheon."

Minhyuk adjusted himself and he towered over Jooheon. He let Jooheon's eyes met his as he held his face.

"Lee Jooheon... I do like you--" Jooheon's eyes became visible once he heard what Minhyuk had said. Minhyuk hugged Jooheon as he hid his face on the younger's neck. "No. Please scratch that-- I am loving you for quite a long time now." he said it almost a whisper as he released Jooheon from his hold.

Jooheon was speechless. He can't find the right words to say but his heart is beating fastly-- Minhyuk loves him, too!

Minhyuk is staring at Jooheon who is standing still, doing nothing, saying nothing. He sighed as he thought that his love could never be returned.

"Heonieya~ Just forget what I've said earlier. Come on and let's order foods!" He fake a smile and he pretended to be happy as he decided that they should just go.

Jooheon didn't answered so he turned his back to walk. While Jooheon thought that this is the right time for him to confess.

"Minmoongie!" He shouted as he ran towards Minhyuk's back.

Minhyuk looked back and the next thing he knew is that Jooheon's lips touched his cheeks.

"Minmoongie~ Actually I do love you, too... ever since way back then and--"

"Jinjja?!" Minhyuk cut him off so Jooheon glared at him. Minhyuk could not control his lips anymore as it curved upward forming into a wide smile. "Okay okay. I'm sorry. Please continue." Minhyuk said. Half laugh, half words.

"And... I'm jealous with Kihyun--"

"You shouldn't be." Jooheon once again glared at Minhyuk for cutting him off but this time, Minhyuk got no chill. "I've been jealous with kkukkungie, too."

"You're the one who shouldn't be--"

"How could I not when you two are always hugging each other?"

"Then how about you and Kihyun hyung always having a date with each other?"

"We're not dating!"

"But you two are always going out with each other--  and I saw the two of you almost kissing each other--" Jooheon pouted.

"Eh? Yah! We didn't even-- aigoo heoni-- maybe that was when he got something on his eyes and I'm just blowing his yes to remove the sting."

"But still--" Minhyuk cut Jooheon's statement with his lips. After that Jooheon went silent.

"Can we not talk about those right now? I'm still enjoying the fact that we are mutual." Minhyuk said as he clasped Jooheon's hand into his. "Let's just go and buy foods, alright? Then let's talk later Honey-- I meant Heonie." Minhyuk laughed as he started walking.

"O-okay."

Jooheon looked at Minhyuk as he smiled. Brushing away all those thoughts running in his mind.

The two bought foods and after that, they went back to the dorm.

After eating, Jooheon and Minhyuk sat on one of the benches outside their dorm and talked. They settled things and decided that they should enjoy and cherish the time that they would be together.

Not forever, but eternity...

"I love you, Minmoongieya~"

"I love you, too, Heonie."

The two closed their night with one blissful kiss.
