Monday = "Funday"

'V' for Vendetta

     "Y/N up, up, up! It's 7 o clock!" My mother shouts from across my house, echoing into my room and shattering my ear drums as usual. Mondays, aren't they amazing? I have to get up, even though the day before I could sleep in. I managed to get out of my bed, stretch really quickly, and pick out some clothes to wear for the day. "Skinny jeans, a black T, and a denim jacket should work for today." I said to myself in hopes of cheering up my mood. I the shower and constantly checked with my hand to see if the temperature matched my liking. I stripped my pijammas off, and hopped into the shower for around 5 minutes before stepping out and drying off. As I slipped my underwear and black T on, I quick checked my phone to see what's new on my SNS's. "Hyuh, of course Sooyeon takes 'those' kinds of selfies.." I said to myself as I began to brush my hair out. My hair was one of the reasons why I hated being in existance. It always was difficult when it came to combing and drying it and I constantly wished it wasn't black, why couldn't it be blonde or something lighter? As I was brushing my teeth I received a message on my phone. "Hey Y/N, i left sum birthday money in ur dresser drawer, just wanted to let u know if u didn't already! Love u!" -Dad. As soon as my dad found out about text slang, he jumped on the band wagon and whenever he texted me he would make sure to insert some of his new phrases in there. Even so, I still was thrilled that I got to take a little extra money with me to school today. Once I was all dressed, I grabbed my bag from my room, tightened the laces on my combat boots, and waved goodbye to my mother who was still lying happily in bed. I couldn't really afford any type of transport to school, but the distance wasn't that far, so I would just walk it. Plus, it meant extra exercise for me, which I agreed with all the way. There was one thing pushing me to get up and go to school every morning, and I hated it. Kim Taehyung, my school crush. He was everything I dreamed about, tall, handsome, funny, athletic, and most of all the most cheerful voice I'd ever heard. It was a shame, that i wasn't really close with him even though we attended the same classes. But I got to look at him every day, which I clearly liked, so why complain? As I stuck my headphones in my ears, I spotted Sooyeon and her friends waiting by a lampost, observing me picking up the pace of my feet. Sooyeon, was basically the most annoying girl you could meet. She constantly posted provacative selfies of herself, flirted with all the guys... including Taehyungie, and would make your stay at 'Gwangju Academy' a living hell. 'Oh god, why does she have to be here? Uuughh, let's just hurry up..' I thought to myself while walking a bit faster than I was before. " Whoa, whoa, whoa Y/N, where do you think you're going?" Sooyeon said while catching me just before I got to the staircase that lead to the driveway to my school. "What do you want this time, Sooyeon?" I said as I glared into her blue eyes, which added to her obvious beauty. "Are you going to come to the party tonight?" She asked while smiling crookedly at me, as her friends giggled in the background. "Well seing as you'll probably be there, it'll be a no from me." I said while turning around, beginning to walk in the other direction. "Oh it's a shame, I heard Taehyung was coming, I guess I'll tell him you couldn't make it." She said turning around with a flip of her hair. That made me boil on the inside. She was everything a guy could want, all packaged up into a pretty box of yness. Taehyung was going to that party? This was my chance to further dive into our relationship, as classmates! I didn't want to say anything to Sooyeon about it, but inside I was contemplating on whether or not I should go to this party thing after all. As I walked down the stairs, Taehyung whooshed past me on his bike. His scent tickled my nostrils just enough to where I could smell his cologne. As I arrived at school, I saw Taehyung's bike statoned in front of the entrance, where he always leaves it. I walked to my first period class, which was English. I was one of the top students in there, seeing as I had lived abroad for most of my life, and had only lived in Korea for about a year now. English was also one of my favorite classes, because my seat was next to Taehyung's. The bell rang and everyone sat down in their seats and quieted down. Taehyung sat down, and gave me a quick look before shoving his head into his criss crossed arms that were on the table. "Alright everyone, get into pairs and do the vocab assignment for today, okay?" Mr. Kwon said before closing his agenda and walking to his desk. I looked around nervously, seeing all of our other classmates getting together and pulling their materials out. I glanced over at Taehyung who was staring at me, straight in the eyes. He said with his head still resting on the table, "Do you want to be my partner?" I couldn't believe what I was hearing, but in an extremely good way. "Umm, sure I guess." I said while rubbing my neck. He smiled slightly, before sitting properly and dragging my desk closer to his desk. "There we go, now I don't have to stretch my neck to talk to you." he said with a small smile. I was shaking in my seat, and tried my hardest to look down at the paper filled with the vocab words for the day. I began to fill in the words that I knew, not looking up for a moment. He clapped his hands in front of my face, which made me flinch and cover my face in shame. His laugh soon turned silent as he began to grow a bit cornerned as to if I was okay. "Hey, you're okay, right?" He said as i lifted my head up. "I'm fine, but try to help me okay..." I said while turning back to my paper that I was working on. He sighed in relief, and layed his head back onto the desk, while staring at my face once again. I thought nothing of it, or at least wanted to, and continued filling up the page. He leaned in closer and spectated what I was writing. "Exfor- Ex.." He said while trying to pronounce the word to the best of his ability. I smiled and lightly corrected him on his pronunciation, "Exfoliate. It means to come apart or rub off of something." He looked back up at me, with his tongue slightly out of his mouth, which made me feel uncomfortable in my seat. "Ah, so that's what that means?" He said while looking back down at the paper with a yawn. "So Y/N, did you hear about Sooyeon's party?" He suddenly asked me without hesitation, as if he were waiting to ask that. "Uuh, I think so?" I said unsure of what words were to exit my mouth. "I was thinking, since you're so smart, would you maybe want to-" Taehyung was explaining to me before he was interrupted by the bell. 'What did you want to say damnit?!' I thought to myself quietly as he began to grab his bag. "Nevermind I'll tell you later or something." He said while zipping up his varsity jacket. I sighed and met up with my best friend, Lee Mina, in the hallway. She was one of the only people who knew about my crush, other than that fox Sooyeon. "Hey Y/N, how was english?" She said while following me to my locker. As i opened it i replied, "You'll never believe what happened? Me and Taehungie got to be partners for an assignment, and he was about to ask me something Sooyeon's party, but the freakin' bell stopped him.." I said with a sigh. "Oh my gosh!! Are you serious? Well, we know what we're doing tonight." She said while looking down at her black converse. "What do ya' mean?" I said while closing my locker and proceeding to walk with her to the class we did have together, Music. "We're definetely going to Sooyeon's  party tonight. You can't pass up this oppurtunity!" She said while nudging my shoulder. I nodded, implying that I somewhat agreed with her. "But how the hell am I going to get in there, Sooyeon won't let me attend her birthdays, let alone enter her own house." I said while starting to climb up a flight of stairs. "I'm sure there's a way to convince her." Mina said trying to encourage me. We both entered the Music classroom, and took seats next to eachother as usual. We were the first ones to enter always, but soon after we entered the classroom Taehyung followed. Mina and I stifled our speech about the party and obviously him. The room grew silent , as we both used facial gestures to communicate with eachother. Taehyung walked up to us, and sat on Mina's desk. "Umm, can we help you?" Mina asked while getting up out of her seat. "You can't, but Y/N can. Can you please give me your phone for a second?" He said while sticking his large hand out. "I guess so..." I said while reaching for my phone that was laying in my pocket. As I handed it to him, he opened up my phone book and programmed a number in it. "That's my number, so tell me whenever you want to work on the vocab, partner." He said with a smirk before getting up and excusing himself from the room. Me and Mina literally had the same facial expression, like we both had just seen a ghost, or like we had just witnessed outr families being slaughtered in front of us."Y/N, are you okay? You're going super pale!" Mina said while pointing at my face. "No no, I'm good.." Isaid while smiling at my phone.  Class was starting and people were pouring into the classroom like roaches. The bell rang, but the teacher was yet to found in the classroom, so everyone began talking and socializing. Sooyeon strutted her way to my desk and bended down to face me. "Here's your invitationto my party..." she said quite unlike herself. It almost sounded like she was being nice for a change. "Th-Thanks?" I said a bit speechless. She turned around, and walked slowly back to her desk. Class started, as soon as our teacher burst through the door, looking like she wasn't having a super great morning. "Hello Class!! I hope you have your performances ready today, because I'm going to grade you today!" She said while trying to catch her breathe. Mina and I looked at eachother in surprise to what we had heard just then. We had forgotten about the music assignment that we were given a week prior to this day. The assignment was either perform a song that you and your partner had composed or create a dance cover to a song of your choice. People were going up, some getting full points and others not. The teacher called us up, and i whispered in Mina's ear that we should just dance to AOA's- Like a Cat, since we both had known that dance relatively well, and Mina nodded in agreement. We performed our crappy little cover, and managed to slip by with a 'B' for the day. However, Taehyung and his friend Jungkook, performed a ballad that made me feel emotions. His voice was so... perfect and in harmony with his friend, Jungkook. I could actually hear my heartbeat, as he looked into my eyes while he sang every note, which scared me just a little. As soon as they finished their performance, the bell rung and I began to pack my things up. Taehyung on his way out, turned around and stopped in front of me. "Good job. I liked your dance thing or whatever it was." He said jokingly, before turning around without giving me room to thank him and gongradulate his performance as well.

     Nothing really important happened after that point. I mean Taehyung just hung out with his BFF's for the rest of the day, and pretended like I didn't exist again. I arrived hom that day, still filled with joy from what had occured earlier in the day. I jumped onto my bed and pulled my phone out, staring at Taehyung's number. 'Should I?' I thought to myself while planning out all of the different outcomes that cold occur. 'He COULD think it's really cute that I messaged him, or he could just assume I'm just a stalker and not even respond..'  After a boat load of thinking i decided to message him a simple, "Hi" and see what happens. Only minutes passed, before heard my phone made a little "Bleep!" sound, alerting me that I had received a message. "Hey, what do you need? Are you okay?" He messaged back, 'Jesus, all I messaged was 'Hi' and he thinks I'm drowning..' i thought to myself while smiling at my phone. "I'm fine, but I was wondering something.. Do you think I could come to Sooyeon's party?" I asked with my fingers crossed he won't turn his phone off. "I don't know why you're asking me this, but I guess you can come with me. Jin-hyung is going to drive me, so I'll tell him to stop by your house before we head to Sooyeon's." He responded about 5 minutes after I texted, and my hope was refilled once I heard that "Bleep!" There was one thing that stood out to me in that text. "Thanks!! But let me at least tell you where I live first" I said while rolling over in my bed in joy, 'He's actually going to pick me up!' I thought to myself to the point where I was actually considering if I was going mentally bonkers at that point. "Don't worry, I know where you live." He sent with a smiley emoji. 'Wait what?? Since when does he know where I live??' I thought to myself with a puzzled expression on my face. I was startled by a knock at the door, which I was not expecting...
