It’s rainy season and student’s are having hard time going to school and coming back from school. They have to go through the heavy rains.

“urghh! I hate rains…” kikwang grunted as he splash a puddle while walking home. He’s wearing a light blue raincoat, holding a white umbrella and a pair of blue boots.

“bye kikwang~” yoseob wave to him from inside the bus passing by him and water splash to his feet

“bye~” he waves and smiles insincerely “great…the water gets into my boots and my feet is wet.” He grunted again feeling mad to the water

While walking his eyes catch the movement of a red raincoat. He wonders at the red raincoat of a person squatting down staring at something. A red umbrella is lying down beside that person act like nothing to that person.

“what is that person doing?” kikwang keep looking at that person frowning

Suddenly the person in the raincoat jumps forward making kikwang to bigger his eyes.

“ack!” she shouted and fell on her knees, kikwang runs towards her

“are you okay?” kikwang stands beside her

“hahahaha.” She laughs happily *she fell on her knees and just laughs? But she have a beautiful smile.* kikwang thought while looking at her

“I’m okay…” she stands up using the help of kikwang and keeps smiling

“what are you doing just now?” kikwang asked and share his umbrella with her

“oh. I’m catching a frog… weird right?” she bends to pick up her umbrella and look back at him so he take a step back owning the umbrella for himself

“sure are weird…” kikwang frowned

“hehehe. I’m jeon Hyosung from TS High.” She happily gives out her hand for a shake. Raindrops trickling on her hands and her fringe

“I’m…I’m lee kikwang from Cube High.” He took the shake and smiles

“wanna catch tadpoles?” Hyosung asked brightly

“ah…sorry I don’t like to play in the rains.” He politely refuses

“nevermind…let’s play later.” She smiles and walks to the nearby park to find a tadpole

Kikwang POV

“hehehe. I’m jeon Hyosung from TS High.” She gives out her hand for a shake. Raindrops trickling on her hands and her fringe making her to look so beautiful

“I’m…I’m lee kikwang from Cube High.” I grabs her hand which is wet from the rain…wait! Did she hold frogs?

“wanna catch tadpoles?” she asked me excitedly giving me a unique smile which I can see her gum

“ah…sorry I don’t like to play in the rains.” I tried to refuse because I hate rain and plus…which girls around 17 wanna catch a tadpole or frogs? She’s so weird.

“nevermind…let’s play later.” She smiles and walks to the nearby park to find a tadpoleor frogs or anything she might find interesting.

I watch the red raincoat disappearing from my sight. She is so weird and she’s in TS High where the girls school nearby. I can possibly see her tomorrow?

Suddenly a loud honk startles me and makes me wakes from my own world. Again, water splashes on my feet. I hate rainy season.

Kikwang walks faster and soon reached home. Meanwhile Hyosung is still wanders around the park looking for tadpole.

“ah! This frog looks like the guy I just met.” She chuckles while jumping along with the frog

The next day also rains heavily. Kikwang started to wear his raincoat and boots, keeping his shoes inside the locker. He walks again through the rains holding an umbrella and catches a glimpse of a jumping red raincoat.

“ today again?” kikwang chuckles and get near to her

“still jumping like a frog?” kikwang stands behind her

“oh! Kikwang ah…yeah.” She flashes him her gummy when she turned her head

“did you catches any tadpoles yesterday?” he simply asked

“nope…wanna join me today?” she stands up and look at him hoping for something

“urm…it’s raining.” Kikwang looks at the grey sky

“aww~ come one…let’s go, tomorrow is weekends.” Hyosung pulls her hand dragging him to walk forwards

“yah…I don’t want to.” He groans but his feet follow her lead

Hyosung dragged him until they reached a small pond at an old house.

“tsk…isn’t it spooky here?” kikwang said looking at the old house mouth slightly open

“it’s nothing…this is my old house. I used to come here all the time.” She smiles and holds his hand bringing him forward to the pond

“yah! Tadpoles!” kikwang pointed a small black things swimming happily inside the pond

“I knew it!” Hyosung looks right and left to find something to put the tadpoles

“what are you looking for?” he blankly asked

“something to put the tadpoles.” Still searching around

“are you raising frogs for god sake?” he jaw drops looking at Hyosung who’s only wearing the raincoat ignoring the existence of umbrella

“hahaha. No silly…it’s just for fun.” Hyosung patting her stomach laughing at his words

“then why do you wanna move it?” he blankly asked again

“I love seeing the tadpoles swim…it makes me calm.” Hyosung shows her gum gently smiling at him

“that…can you lend it to me?” Hyosung point at a bottle on his bag

“this? What?! Hell no! It’s my bottle.” Kikwang shrieks

“awww~ come one…I’ll promise to clean it up after I use it. Please~” she clasp both of her hand in front of her face pleading at kikwang

“aisshh…alright. Make sure it’s clean.” Kikwang handed her his bottle and received it happily

“thanks…” she mutters while catching the tadpoles

After that, kikwang send her home…

“this is your house?” kikwang looks at a big house with a big yard

“yup! Wanna come in?” Hyosung said as she enters the gate

“next time…I got to go back.” He smiles and wave at her

“see you tomorrow…” Hyosung shouted “same place!” Hyosung added and kikwang left

“he’s such a nice guy…” Hyosung looks at the bottle which a few of tadpoles are swimming around

The next day where Hyosung and kikwang suppose to meet, kikwang is still rolling on his bed cuddling inside the blanket. He keeps tossing his body, feeling uneasy.

“aisshh! Should I go and meet her?” he mutters alone

“but it’s raining outside…I hates rain…” he continue again

“I have to meet her…she have my bottle!” kikwang throws the blanket and runs down wearing his raincoat and grab an umbrella before going out

“yah kikwang ah. Where are you going? It’s raining.” His mum shouted but he left before he could even heard his mum

“if all the raindrops were lemon drops and gumdrops, oh what a rain that would be~ standing outside with my mouth open wide…ah ah ah ah ah ah ah~ if all the raindrops were lemon drops and gumdrops, oh what a rain that would be~” Hyosung is singing happily while kikwang is actually watching her from behind.

The singing red raincoat, the jumping red raincoat, that is Jeon Hyosung.

“how long have you been wait?” kikwang tap her shoulder making her startle

“I thought you don’t wanna come.” She pouted

“where’s my bottle?” he hand gesture wanting the bottle

“here! Thanks for yesterday…” Hyosung gives him his bottle

“can we get out from the rain today?” kikwang frowns looking at the rain pouring and making her fringe wet

“okay…let’s get something hot.” She grabs his hand and walks forward

Kikwang didn’t say anything along the way, he could feel his face hot enough to make him warm. Before he realise, they reached a café. Both of them spend time drinking hot chocolate and coffee, talking about many things. When the rains stop, kikwang send her back again.

“why you would always offered to send me home?” Hyosung chuckles

“it’s not good to leave your date to walk alone.” Kikwang said and walks

“date? I’m your date?” she frowned

“2 people going out together is consider as a date ya know.” He smirks leaving Hyosung to blush

“let’s go…” kikwang calls her

“…why do you hate rains?” she simply create a topic

“I don’t know, it just turned down my mood.” He blows his fringe

“why? It’s fun…I love the rain.” She flashed him the unique gummy smile.

While watching her smile, the rains started to pour down heavily again.

“ah! Hyosung hurry up.” kikwang tried to run but Hyosung started to jumps happily and dancing in the rain. Kikwang smiles as he sees her happily inside the rain without realise that he’s soaking wet.

“this rainy season…I don’t feel…gloom.” He smiles

“yah! Come on! Let’s play the rain…” Hyosung grabs his hand to play along

Every day since that day, kikwang would meet Hyosung when it rains. Red raincoat jumping, red raincoat singing raindrops songs, that is Jeon Hyosung. The rainy day that kikwang despise become his favourite time. When asking about umbrella, he doesn’t know the function of umbrella anymore.

On one sunny day, kikwang skips happily to meet her but she’s not there. he searched her at her old house near the pond and she’s nowhere to be found. The next day also he went to find her but same as yesterday.

The rainy season had passed and Hyosung is nowhere to be found.

“haaiihhh~” kikwang sighs thinking of Hyosung

“what’s wrong with you?” yoseob sits beside him

“I want rains…” he mumbles

“rains? I thought you hate rains?” yoseob frowned at him

“that red raincoat girl named jeon Hyosung makes me loves rain.” He stares at the window while talking

“did she makes you loves rain or loves her?” yoseob smirks but hearing the words make kikwang’s heart to stop and beat faster

“I go back first!” kikwang quickly take his bag and runs

“yah! What about the after school duty?” yoseob shouted

Kikwang runs to her school. Every girl’s looking at him when he enters the school.  The sky is grey and thunder can be heard.

“it’s going to rain…” he panting said searching for her. Few minutes later, the rains started to fall heavily.

“red raincoat…” he looks for the red raincoat of her. However, she’s nowhere to be found. Kikwang is soaking wet walks disappointedly home. Walking at the same route he used to walk but this time, without raincoat, without boots and without umbrella.

The cold rain flows down his cheek… “Jeon Hyosung…I miss you.” He mutters and tears flows down to his cheek feeling warm. His vision got blurry seeing people walks pass by him, a blue raincoat jumping… JUMPING? He quickly wipes his tears to get a clearer vision and it’s true that the blue raincoat is jumping.

“jeon Hyosung… no wonder I can’t find you. You’re wearing blue raincoat.” he smiles and runs towards her

“if all the raindrops were lemon drops and gumdrops, oh what a rain that would be…” Hyosung sings the song as usual while catching the frog. Suddenly she feels a muscular arm wraps around her body while squatting

“I caught a frog.” Kikwang said

“hahaha…babo…I’m not a frog. You’re a frog…” She turned around giving him the long lost gummy smile that he misses

“yea I’m a frog…you caught my heart, making my heart jumping like a frog…I’m your frog.” Kikwang looks deeply inside her eyes and Hyosung stunned with slightly open

“ki…kikwang.” She blinks her eyes and both of them stand up

“you’re the weird girl who catches frogs and calm when seeing tadpoles swimming…you’re the red raincoat girl who jumps along with the frogs, who dancing in the rain, making me to loves rain and makes me to fall in love with you.” Kikwang cupped her cheek looking at her teary eyes

“even though I’m weird…you love me?” Hyosung choked her words

“yea…I love you and you’re not weird…you’re just limited edition.” Kikwang smiles and Hyosung pulled his neck for a kiss

“I…I love you too…” she smiles while hanging on his neck, tip toe.

“where have you been for the past 2 weeks? I’ve been looking for you every day.” kikwang clench his teeth

“you do? I fell sick on the first week and the second week I took different route because it’s not raining.” She laughs at the thought that kikwang been looking for her

“you make me worry…” he sigh in relieved “I thought you’re a rain spirit…showing up on rainy seasons only.” He chuckles and Hyosung hit his shoulder lightly

“now I’m a rain spirit?” she looks at him in surprise

“hahaha. Let’s get something hot.” Kikwang take her hand and hold it tightly

“urm. Now it feels like real date.” Hyosung smiles happily

“why?” kikwang asked

“because we’re official…” she looks down in embarrassment

“no we’re not.” Kikwang simply said making Hyosung to stop walking and kikwang turned to look at her.

“just kidding…” kikwang laughs and kiss her lips once again but more passionate while rains is pouring heavily on their head, to their cheeks and to their lips. Hyosung grab onto his collar and deepen the kiss.

“babo…” she said when both of them broke the kiss

“I love you.” Kikwang said and grabs her hand walking forward smiling happily.

“haachiu!” kikwang sneeze

“are you okay?” Hyosung looks at him who’s rubbing his nose with a tissue

“it’s all your fault jeon Hyosung…” he sniffed

“I’m not the one who’s running in the rain yesterday.” Hyosung frowns and kikwang kiss her lips

“now you’ll get my virus and fell sick too.” He smirks

“yah!” Hyosung smacked his arm
