Foreword
It’s been exactly five years since the day my parents disappeared. Since then, I've been living in an apartment thanks to a very nice ahjumma and ahjussi who own the building. I had to quit school when I was to support myself by working various part-time jobs. Luckily, I was always was an A+ student, thanks to the fact that I have an photographic memory. When I turned 15, I decided to attend school again. I passed the entrance test with flying colors and got a scholarship to Seoul Academy of Arts. It's been two years since then and it's now the beginning of my senior year.
In class I sit between the window and the infamous Lee Byung Hyun a.k.a. L.Joe. I’m the president of the student council and every day after school, I secretly go to my part time job at a café called the Cozy Corner. Part time jobs are forbidden in my school, but I absolutely, positively cannot afford to lose it. Only my closest friends know about my secret.
