Mistaken Thoughts
Description
Cho Kyuhyun was an adopted son of the Shim family, though he's still using his late parent's family name. His parents died in a car accident when he was 5 and Shim family, being close to the Cho's, decided to adopt the orphaned child.
Kyuhyun owes his life to them, especially to Shim Changmin, which is just months older than him. He became his light on his wasted life, he helped him get over of what had happened to him and made him believe that there's still more of him that's coming.
Their bond grew as if they're brothers by blood. But then an incident made Kyuhyun form a gap between them, though Changmin wasn't aware of that.
Foreword
Kyuhyun was startled at the sudden commotion, but then shrugged it off immediately; sat on a bench, took a bite from his sandwich and continued playing the paused video of the gameplay that he's watching.
"What's with the commotion?"
"I've heard that a senior passed out after running around the track field. If I'd remembered.. J-Jongwoon sunbae?"
Kyuhyun almost tripped getting off the bench making his way to the track field. "What the hell was he thinking that he'd run around the track field? He's not even an athlete to do that!" He incoherently cursed in his mind.
He could see the crowd from afar; it slightly cuts in half as a shadow makes its way through it. He hid himself from the adjusting crowd when he had familiarized whom the shadow's coming from.
He made it first, again. He watched him carry Jongwoon out of the scene, he chuckled bitterly before clenching his fists. And he's a step ahead of him again, making him farther to reach.. too far for Kyuhyun to catch up.
