His footsteps echoed along the halls of his empire, each sound raising the bars of anxiety and fear for
the people within his domain. He was used to this. He was used to the endless walks he had done
towards the never ending because to him it signified two things: power and glory.

It was supposed to be the same, predictable and unending hallway he enjoyed gazing upon. Before,
the flickering light that guided him in his tracks was unreachable; giving a feeling of confirmation
that his success will fluidly go on and on. But today, he could pin-point a difference. The light
he neverreached suddenly grew closer and closer until he finally grasped the edge.
He has reached the origin of the light.
