My fingers were half-wedged into my coin purse as I watched a silver coin fall out and bounce on the floor, rolling away from me. 'Freedom!' It must have shouted, but was silenced as a stranger's hand picked it up, gentle fingers holding it out to me.

I stared at the rabbit in front of me. Rabbit?? I meant human, obviously, but his teeth! Rabbit-like.

"Miss, is this yours?" His smile widened when I nodded, his fingers dropping it into my outstretched palm.

I smiled back, "Thanks." I studied his reddish-brown hair with subtle blonde low-lights, his black eyes staring at my face. They were so doe-like! He wore a plain t-shirt tucked into jeans, a windbreaker over his t-shirt. He had a neat, and tidy appearance, and to be honest, he got me as soon as his voice poured into my ears.

A sharp tapping-sound was made with a pen on plastic, and I turned around, my cliché experience being interrupted by the cashier. "Excuse me, are you going to pay now?" I fumbled with the cash a little before hanging it over to her, my face getting hot from holding up the five other customers behind me. "Jeez, some women just flock to men as soon as they pass a glance at them…" She muttered under her breath.

I took a step back, disbelief written across my face. "You know why we get belittled all the time? It's because women like you aren't ready to support other women when the time comes for it. Misogyny is a huge bump in our journey of femin-"

"Next!"

My jaw dropped, the customer gently butting me out of the lane.

And that's how I forgot about the angel I saw at Piggy-Mart. Shame, really, he looked like the type of person I could sit at a coffee shop for hours with, watching his rabbit teeth poke out of his mouth as he smiled at my corny jokes…. So this is what it's like to imagine marriage with someone before you even actually know them!

I threw thoughts of him in the back of my mind, making my way home to develop a new receipe for me to munch on while I sip on my coffee. Ah yes, one of the most consumed drink in the world, that had the power to allow students to run on 40 minutes of sleep. It's as helpful as the ability it does to stain your teeth, but hey, we all need our cuppa Joe! People like the mask the true taste of coffee by adding milk or cream, and sugar to it. I, myself am not against this as there are different ways to enjoy different foods, however, call me the devil as I consume my coffee black only.

My phone vibrated as soon as I sat down on my sofa, the screen lighting up.

I smiled, appreciating the effort my Mom made to try and help me meet a friend from my past. I quickly typed her my thanks, planning out how I was gonna meet the poor, nervous boy again. I wonder if he made friends... I owe him lots.

First time writing in two years. I'm still planning out the movement of this story so bear with slow updates. Hopefully I have people in the same boat as me... Doyoung is love c'mon. Anyway, I'll continue to update within the week.
