Months had passed since that event had taken place. Each day Hakyeon wished it would go back to normal, back to when he was living in his own world and Taekwoon in his.

Since that moment, Taekwoon had never left him alone. He would make sure he grabbed his attention at least once before the school day ended-- making sure he acknowledges him. Everyday Hakyeon wished he had never took notice of the other, wished he kept his mouth shut.

Walking home, Hakyeon let out a heavy sigh, it’s a lot harder avoiding the other, every direction he turned Taekwoon would make sure their path cross. “HYUNG! HAKYEON-HYUNG!” someone yelled, catching his attention.

Looking around, there in front of him, across the street stood his childhood friend; Sanghyuk. Seeing the younger boy, a smile grew across his face, “Hyukkie!” he called out, waving his arm.

Once the light turned green, Sanghyuk ran hastily toward him, jumping and wrapping his arm around the other’s shoulder, “Didn’t you hear me? I’d been calling your name since you left the school's gate.”

The older boy gave out a nervous laugh, “No…” he answered, rubbing the back of his neck, “sorry.”

Sanghyuk suddenly chuckled, “Just kidding,” he said, “I just saw you now.”

Hakyeon ruffled his hair, “How dare you lie to me?!”

The younger boy only laughed at his friend, “Come on, lets get going!” he said dragging his friend along with him.

From afar, Taekwoon watched the whole thing, seeing the other laughed and talked to whoever that was, only irritated him. Hakyeon haven’t even talked to him, nor had they even exchanged smile yet.

Watching them disappeared from a distances, Taekwoon can feel his body grow frustrated from jealousy. Who was that kid? Why are they so close? Irritated, he closed the window and looked up at his driver, “Go.”

The next morning seem a bit too normal and calm, it felt right, yet at the same time something was off. Ever since that day, Taekwoon had made his self visible, but today, today the boy was nowhere to be found.

Hakyeon didn’t want to take notice, but somehow he kept wondering when the boy was going to appear, part of him was waiting for the other.

The boy couldn’t help but search for the other. Quickly he stopped his self, what am I doing? What have gotten over me? It’s good that he’s not here.

The morning bell rung, as the homeroom teacher entered the room, Hakyeon stood up, waiting for Taekwoon’s morning greeting.

“Is Taekwoon absent today?” the teacher suddenly asked, Hakyeon looked over to his seat.

Seeing the empty seat, Hakyeon grew confused; Taekwoon has never missed a day of school before. Where could he be? Is he sick?

Quickly he shook his head once more, what is am I thinking? I don’t care.

The last bell rung, snapping the boy back to reality, somehow this “normal” day didn’t feel right, he felt empty the whole day, he wasn’t focus, a part of him kept looking for the other waiting for him the appear.

Taking one last glance at the other’s empty seat, the boy left the room.

A week had passed and the other was still nowhere to be found. Hakyeon sighed, seeing the empty seat once more.

Where could be have gone? Is he okay? Question started filling the boy’s head.

The morning bell had rung, as the teacher came in to take attendance. After calling Hakyeon name, he waited for the other name to be called. Maybe the teacher would know, it has been a week now.

“Okay lets get started.” he suddenly said, causing Hakyeon to quickly looked up, Taekwoon name wasn’t called? Why didn’t he call Taekwoon name? Where is Taekwoon? Is he okay? Did he transfer? Hakyeon can feel his heart sinking, questions flood his head.

The whole day the boy tried his best to stay focus, but somehow he couldn’t, his mind kept wondering off, he couldn’t help but think about the other.

Once the last bell rung, Hakyeon quickly got up and ran down to the teacher lounge, he needed to know what happen to the other, his heart would not settle if he doesn’t know.

Taking a deep breath he opened the door and excused his self, making his way to his homeroom teacher, he greeted him.

The boy can feel the sweat forming on his palm, his heart was racing, he didn’t know what he was doing anymore.

“How may I help you?” the teacher asked, staring up at the boy.

“Um… Um.” nothing was coming out.

The teacher sat there staring at him, waiting for an answer.

Taking a deep breath, “I…” he started, “I was wondering if you by chance know what happen to Jung Taekwoon?” he asked, looking down on his shoes.

“Oh, Taekwoon?” he answered, “I was informed that he caught a cold, that’s why he haven’t been coming to school.”

“A cold?”

He nodded, “Would you like to go dropped off his school work for me?” he asked.

Hearing that Hakyeon froze, he didn’t know how to answer him, he can feel his heart racing faster.

“So, would you mind doing me this favor?”

Hakyeon stood there staring at the tall door in front of him, what has he gotten his self into? He wasn’t sure if he could do this now, he been standing there staring at the door for a few minutes now, but he haven’t been able to being his self to ring the doorbell.

Taking a deep breath, he slowly started counting backward, hoping to calm his racing heart. I can do this, what's so scary?

After a moment, he finally had the strength to lift his arm and rung the doorbell.

Just then the door suddenly swing opens and before Hakyeon could react, someone grabbed and pulled him toward them-- hugging him tightly.

“I knew this day would come,” he started.

Hearing the other’s voice, the boy knew exactly who this soft voice belong to, Taekwoon.

“I knew one day you’ll miss me.” he whispered hugging the other tighter.

Hakyeon couldn’t help but smile, he knew for sure at this exact moment that he did indeed missed the other, a lot.
