Before the excitement drowns you, no, this fic doesn't feature Yoo Si-jin or any of the main couples. not AT ALL. sorry not sorry. Honestly, i'm not expecting much interest or positive review on an au fic based on a hit drama which doesn't even focus on the main pairings, but, a secondary character pairing with an OC. I can live in my own bubble right T.T But still, if this happens to be your cup of tea, i'm happy for you =) 

Strange how my inspiration sparked from SHINee's song The Reason rather than from the drama, which I think many of you might assume? I stumbled upon the song when i read a b2st's fanfic years ago, and it has since become one of my favourite SHINee's ballads. Kudos to the cross-fandom love <3  

Lastly, which is probably obvious, this fic came to existence because i'm such a hopeless mvp x)
