“hey shorty!!”, a voice called loudly as he walked pass the gate of their high school.

He looked up and saw the face of his living nightmare, giving a sickeningly sweet smile while waving his hand, gesturing him to get closer to where he stood. Even worse, he was holding a cup of coffee that he was sure would ended up all over his uniform soon.

Of course he didn’t have any choice but to comply because he didn’t want this ended up worse. It was always like that, every single damn time. He couldn’t even remember why he ended up being his target, oh wait he remember actually. This all bullying started when he accidentally spilled his stupid drink on his uniform back at first grade. Now they were officially seniors, but even though he had younger grades as new targets, he still loved to make his life miserable.

“what’s with that face, Baekkie? Aren’t you happy to see me again? I miss you, you know”, he grinned so big it made him wanted so badly to land his fist on that handsome face. But of course it would only happen in his dreams because Baekhyun was the epitome of weak while the taller boy in front of him was the exact opposite.

He was Kim Jongin or Kai, the king of Seoul International Private Academy or SIPA for short, an all boys school consist only the rich or the genius, there were no in between except a few rare people. He was your stereotypical bully. Handsome, tall, rich, famous, excellent in sports but had absolutely no brain, and loved to do anything based on his will just because his parents basically owned the school.

Baekhyun didn’t respond, just looking at his shoes while praying this would end faster.

Jongin grabbed the poor boy chin roughly, “why aren’t you answering me, ? Cat got your tongue?”, he said in front of his face. And although his tone was playful, Baekhyun knew it was anything but that.

“I-I am ha-ppy to s-see you K-kai”, Baekhyun stuttered.

Many students walking passed them like nothing happened. Some would just glance at the quivering Baekhyun with pity but did nothing. It was like the unspoken rules inside SIPA that unless you want to be the next target, do not try to show any kindness to the bullied.

“aww I know you will”, Jongin grinned wider, then smirked, “I even buy you a cup of your favorite coffee, see?”, he said while showing the said coffee in front of his face.

Then when he was about to gave the cup to Baekhyun, just as he predicted, Jongin ‘accidentally’ pouring the slightly warm liquid on his uniform. He could hear some students laughed at his misfortune while they pass them.

“opps, sorry ‘bout that, Baekkie. My hand slipped”, he said with obviously fake ‘sorry’ face.

It happened in blur after that, even Jongin wore a complete shocked expression as steaming hot black coffee not so accidentally poured on his , staining his caramel colored pants, forming a laughable shape as if he was ting in his pants. Baekhyun and some students who witnessed that let out an audible gasp. Because no one in their right mind would do that to the great Kim Jongin unless they were planning their own death 

Jongin turned around with face so red from embarrassment and pain because that coffee was ing hot it burned his !!

And imagine his shock when he was face to face with someone so cute and looking at him with such innocent eyes. Jongin could have mistaken him as an angel if not because of the empty cup he held.

Then the innocent looking angle smiled sweetly and spoke out loud, “oops, sorry ‘bout that, my hand slipped”, perfectly mimicking Jongin earlier words.

That was how they met for the first time

And when Mrs. Park introduced him as Do Kyungsoo, a new transfer student from Busan, Jongin swore to all of his friends that he would made the last year of Do Kyungsoo life in high school was nothing but a living hell.

But Jongin didn’t even know what he got himself into, because Do Kyungsoo absolutely not someone who would be bullied that easily. As if that black belt on his Karate uniform wasn’t any indication.
