[Jin POV]

Ok, so apparently tattoos hurt more firsthand than through soulmates. That’s a piece of information I would have appreciated before I started this, because now I’m kinda dying.

“Hey kid” The artist said as he finished the H “You ok?”

“Yeah, just…” I forced a laugh “It hurts more this way…”

“Then when your soulmate does it?” he raised an eyebrow as I nodded “Yeah it does, has your soulmate gotten a lot?”

“They have like seven.”

“Damn that’s a lot.” He chuckled “How old even are you?”

This is like the only place that doesn’t ask for an ID before giving someone a tattoo, something about wanting to make it easier for youths to find true love or something. I don’t know, this is just where Jimin told me to go sense he got his done here too.

“I’m in my last year of high school.” I shrugged bracing myself for when he starts the next letter “I turned 18 in December”

“Huh, so I actually coulda asked for an ID and you’d be legal.” He gave me a small smile as he started the O. I just nodded in response. “You got a name?”

“Kim Seokjin.” I answered through gritted teeth “Most people just call me Jin.”

“Yoo Youngjae.” He introduced himself as the O slowly formed. “You wouldn’t happen to go to the high school a few blocks away would you?”

“Yeah actually.” I answered “Why?”

“Ah it’s just…” he paused to look at me “You know your principal right?”

“Mr. Jung?”

“Yeah him.”

“What about him?” I asked

“Well, he’s kinda sorta my soulmate” he grinned at me before finishing the letter.

“Small world I guess.” I attempted a laugh

“Yeah, actually” He grinned “One of our piercers is married to a math teacher at your school.”

“Huh really?” I asked “Who?”

“Ever heard of a teacher named Choi?” He asked “He’s got the same first name as me so.”

“Wait, like, Mr. Choi?” I gasped slightly as he started another letter.

“Yeah that’s him.” he nodded “You have him?”

“He’s probably one of the best teachers I’ve had”

“Wow, really?” he asked turning the tattoo needle off, only half the P finished. “Hey JB!” he suddenly called making me jump slightly

“What?” the man, who I assumed was JB asked 

“I have one of your husband’s students here.” Youngjae smiled “He said he’s one of the best teachers.”

“Is that so?” JB smiled, as I nodded at him.

“Yeah, he’s pretty chill.” I smiled “Probably the only teacher who would give me a retake for a really big test, though he always seems so happy all the time.”

“Yeah that’s him.” JB nodded his head. “You really think he’s one of the best?”

“Hell yeah.”

“Alright!” He laughed “I’ve decided to give you a free piercing.”
