They met in high school. Jimin was a fit athletic jock with good grades, definitely on his way to a full scholarship,  yet he had his own demons dealing with body image issues. Yoongi was a slacker geting by on C's because despite not doing his school work he aced tests, he smoked and drank to hide his issues with his family and the fact they ended up together was a miracle.  One they were thankful for everday.

"Yoongi-ah! We need to study get of your phone!" Jimin nagged at him poking him and shoving the geometry book in his face

They had been dating for about a week and but Jimin was still shy and had trouble making eye contact with Yoongi

"I dont want too Jiminnie thats boring" Yoongi said with a pout. Jimin blushed at the name and Yoongi chuckled

"What about this-" Jimin said boldly "Every question you get right I'll give you a kiss" Jimin shyly giggled and Yoongi cocked an eyebrow 

"Alright fine, you've persuaded me" Yoongi said with a grin

The studying session had ended with a  finished sheet of homework, a blushing Jimin and a goofy grinned Yoongi after a makeout session

Jimin giggled at the memory as he stood in the kitchen making breakfast for him and Yoongi.

They were in college now, and they shared a dorm. And they still were very fond of eachother. 

"Yoongi-Ah~" Jimin softly said walking towards Yoongis sleeping figure with a plate filled with pankcakes.

Yoongi loved pankcakes

Yoongi pulled the sheets over his face with a groan. Jimin pulled them down and planted kisses all over his face until Yoongi woke up.Yoongi sat up and kissed Jimin on the lips and pulled him onto his lap. Jimin blushed a giggled.

"Morning beautiful" Yoongi said into Jimins ear. 

"Morning sleepy" Jimin said looking up and him through his lashes. He got flusterd at the grin Yoongi gave him and spoke up again "I made breakfast" he said getting up replacing himself with the pancakes

Yoongi gave a gummy grin and Jimins heart went weak.

Jimin got breakfast for himself. He smiled. He never used to eat breakfast, and he didnt know why he started but that morning it clicked. Yoongi made him feel loved, Yoongi made him feel beautiful.

Jimin walked out of the last class of the day to find Yoongi waiting for him. Jimin broke out in a smile because after all these years seeing Yoongi still made his heart flutter. 

"Hey Jiminnie" Yoongi said and grabbed Jimins textbooks even though Jimin protested 

"Ah your such a gentleman" Jimin said reaching up to peck Yoongi on the cheek and Yoongi blushed because they were in public but he didnt mind.Yoongi wasnt usually affectionate in public, especially in highschool since he had a tuff guy act to keep up. But after a while he got used to Jimins sweet kisses and hand holding and whispers. 

They got back to the doors and Jimin was studying but Yoongi wanted attention

Yoong poked Jimin. Jimin looked up from his book

"Yoongi go study I'm busy" Jimin said going back to his book

"Jiminnie your to smart you dont need to study. Yoongi wants attention"  Yoongi whined. Jimin chuckled setting down his book

"Lets watch a movie yea?" Jimin said getting off his bed and walking over to Yoongi who was sitting on the edge of his bed. Yoongi looked up at Jimin who was right in front of him. Jimin naturally rested his hands in Yoongi hair, petting it. 

"Yea, a scary one?" Yoongi asked

Jimin excitedly nodded

Yoongi suddenly pulled Jimin down as he layed down so Jimin was sitting on him. Jimin was blushing as Yoongi put his arms around his neck and pulled him down into a kiss. When they finally broke from the kiss Yoongi whisperd in Jimins ear.

"Your so beautiful" Yoongi kissed Jimins jaw down to his neck

"Yoongi" Jimin giggled "Dont leave a mark people will ask" Jimin said a flustered mess

"Too late" Yoongi said with a grin biting his lip "You can give all the credit to me" Yoongi winked

"Ahhh your so bad!" Jimin said smiling  playfully hitting Yoongis chest "Lets watch the movie!" Jimin said getting of Yoongi and Yoongi pouted

They layed on the couch and Jimin wanted to be the big spoon because Yoongi got scared alot and playing with Yoongi hair calmed him down. Jimin giggled that as movie could make tuff Yoongi so startled. Jimin pulled a blanket over the both of them and placed one arm around Yoongis waist and used one to comb through his hair.

When Yoongi got too startled Jimin petted his hair and shushed him calming him down. Yoong held on to Jimins free hand and squeezed it when he got scared

"Your so cute" Jimin teased

"Oh shush" Yoongi mutterd

4 years later, after university Yoongi and Jimin moved into an apartment. It was a one bedroom, small, all they needed. Yoongi got back from work before Jimin and started to prepare dinner. Usually Yoongi was the one to cook but tonight was special. He set the table. Yoongi laughed, 5 years ago he would've thought hed be out on his own drinking and smoking his life away, like he'd wanted. When he met Jimin that all changed and he couldnt be happier. Jimin made him feel like he was worth something. 

Jimin came home with a smile on his face and hung his jacket up. He walked up to Yoongi to give him a kiss.

They ate dinner and talked about their day and Yoongi made lame jokes that Jimin laughed at. 

"I know I've told you this before but your smile is beautiful" Yoongi told Jimin "And you still blush everytime I say it" Yoongi teased 

"Yea, well you still blush when I call you my handsome prince" Jimin stuck his tongue out and Yoongi did blush "Ahhh so cute!" 

Yoongi and Jimin cleaned the table and Yoongi felt nautious, he was so nervous.  He put on the old vinyl record that Jimin loved dancing to. Jimin cocked a brow and Yoongi grabbed his waist and began dancing. 

"Your so handsome Yoongi" Jimin said looking into Yoongis eyes 

"And your the most beautiful man in the world, and I get to call you mine" Yoongi passionately kissed Jimin. "Jiminnie, I have a question" Yoongi said jis heart in his throut

"Yea?" Jimin said

Yoongi got down on one knee. Jimins eyes went wide

"Marry me my love" Yoongi asked pretty sure he stutterd because he was so nervous

"Yes!" Jimin cheered and clapped hugging Yoongi and kissing him 

"I love you Jimin" Yoongi said nose to nose with Jimin

"I love you too" Jimin said and smiled

"Calm down Jimin!'" Seokjin said fanning Jimin with his hand "Dont ruin your eyeliner on your wedding day, your gunna be okay breathe"

Jimin was nervous and felt like puking but this was the most important day of his life. He wasnt gunna be walking down the aisle in no smudged eyeliner and tear streak mascara. Jimin looked in the mirror and tucked his hair behind his ear, he felt pretty. After a while he saw Seokjins smiling figure behind him

"You look stunning" Jin said. Jin was an old friend from college, him and Taehyung. Tae was on Jimins soccer team and Jin was in AP science, history and english with Jimin 

Jimin thanked Seokjin

"You look really nice, Yoongis lucky" Tae added

"You guys are too sweet" Jimin commented and they chuckled

"I remember when me and Joonie got married" Jin began "I was so nervous snd worried for the future, but man it was the best day and best decision I ever made, it'll be worth it"

Jimin smiled "Thanks Hyung, Yah Tae, when are you and Hoseok ever gunna marry" Jimin teased and Seokjin giggled

"Yah! Were waiting  it'll happen soon though, between us," Tae leaned in as if thier were other people in the room. "I saw him looking at wedding magazines" all three of them squealed in excitement

"Chill man your fine" Hoseok reassured

"Lettme fix your tie" Namjoon said reajusting Yoongis bow tie. 

"Thanks guys I'm just nervous" Yoongi said sorry for worrying them

"Well yea"  Namjoon said this us a big day" he smiled big and slapped Yoongi on the back brotherly like "Im happy for you" 

"Man I am not looking forward to this" Hoseok mutterd, but it was loud enough for Yoongi and Namjoon it hear, they both looked up at him eyes wide "Oh " Hoseok said 

"Ahhhh so your finally gunna do it!" Yoongi said in glee 

Hoseok smirked "Yea... he said he loved me and I realised I did too... I really want to spend the rest of my life with him you know. It just feels so right you know?" 

"Yea I do, its a beautiful feeling" Yoongi said smiling and Namjoon agreed. "Man this is crazy, years ago I was smoking and drinking, skipping school, getting in trouble with the law, fast forward to now I'm about to get married to the love of my life, standing here with my Bestfriends, crazy what love and friendship can do" they all cheered

"Ready champ?" Namjoon asked

"Lets do this" Yoongi replied

Jimin looked so beautiful walking down the aisle Yoongi thought

Jungkook, another college friend even though he was a freshman in their senior year, was the ring carrier.

It was a simple wedding, about 50 people, outside during the spring, semi traditional 

Yoongi put on Jimins ring and said I do and Jimin did the same

-

5 years later they had adopted two kids, a boy BaekSoo 9 years old and a daughter, EunHwa 5 years old. They moved into a roomy three bedroom house.

"Jiminnie can you take EunHwa shes crying but dinners gunna burn" Yoongi pleaded

"Of course Yoongi calm down its okay" he kissed Yoongi taking EunHwa and BaekSoo scrunched his nose 

"Ewww get a room" he mutterd

"Yah what a brat!" Jimin said astounded

Jimin hushed EunHwa Yoongi frowned because he hadnt calmed her down. Jimin looked at him with soft eyes Jimin knew he was afraid of making the same mistakes his parents made.

"Yoongi your a great father, but when you get stressed out so does she shes very intune with others emotions. Here, Eunhwa do you want Daddy? Daddy will give you a piggy back!" EunHwa perked up "Ill finish Dinner Yoongi you go have fun!" Jimin said cheerfully. Yoongi ran around the house Eunhwa on his back and she giggled and laughed. It was the most precious thing ever. Yoongi cant believe he got so lucky

"Waaah you've gotten so big!" Hoseok said to Baeksoo

"Yea I'm 13 now" BaekSoo said smiling

"Where did the time go" Jimin sighed 

Jimin and Yoongi threw a small party for the fourth of july. Baeksoo Jimin, Hoseok and Tae were throwing a football around while Jin, Namjoon and Yoongi attended EunHwas tea party.

They had get togethers like this often and Yoongi questioned why he always ended up in a tiara but EunHwa said it could be a prince crown. He rememberd the first time Jimin called him his handsome prince and smiled

Sending the kids to college was hard, hard to say goodbye they both cried and so did EunHwa but BaekSoo tried to keep ot together for the rest of them. 

"Call and text and we'll visit and take you out to dinner, make sure to eat and study and-"

"Daaaad we'll be fine" BaekSoo said to Jimin reassuring him

Jimin smiled "Okay, I love you both"

"Love you too dad"

Jimin and Yoongi got in the car, Yoongi was driving. Jimin was still sniffling and Yoongi put his hand on Jimins thigh

"They'll be okay, they take after your smarts"  Yoongi reassured. Even though they were adopted they did take after Jimin and Yoongi quiete alot. 

"Yea I guess your right" Jimin said smiling.

They sat on the porch. Jimin smiled. 54 years together. Children giggled playing in the street and Jimin thought of when EunHwa and BaekSoo were young. There were teenagers playing basketball and Jimin thought of his youth with a smile. They had come back from lunch with Tae, Hoseok, Namjoon and Jin. He grabbed Yoongis hand from where it was placed it his lap. 

"Do you miss when we were Young?" Jimin questioned

Yoongi thought "No" he replied "because I still love you the same, and as far as I'm concerned, were young forever" Yoongi smiled "I've loved you since day one, and I'll never stop"
