It's not my pleasure to meet you, Giant Elf.

Description

Seo Je Ni, who also goes by the name of Jenny- is a korean national who grew up in Canada. She's always been longing to go back to Korea, to experience their way of life, and to make new acquaintances which is of the same race and perhaps make close friends. It has always been said that in life, you have to make a choice. Choices that are sometimes scary. Jenny, indeed, had them. She has given the right to decide; to be an exchange student in Korea and live independently or to continue her perfect life in Canada. She knows that it will cause a drastic change in her life-- maybe for good, or maybe bad. But whatever happens, she's ready to experience all the events that awaits her there, even heartbreaks and loses.

Foreword

"Love and Fate. Two strong elements that can control our life.
Love, it makes our world happy. And once fate decides to intervene,
that when the story starts to get twisted."

"Ahhhhh~" Jenny stretched her arms wide as soon as she stepped out of the plane. It's good to be back. It has been almost ten years- wait, eleven? I really can't count the years anymore. But hey I was just eight back then.. Or nine? Heh. Anyways... "I'm back, Korea~!"

It was only then when someone shushed her that she realized... Oops, I forgot. I'm still at the airport. With a sheepish smile and flustered cheeks, she bowed and uttered her most sincere apology. "Mianheyo~."

Even though she lived half of her life in Canada, Jenny can still talk in Korean language since it's her father's number one rule in their household that once they are inside the house, they should talk in Korean.

Speaking of family, they have four members. Her mom, dad, her older brother, and Jenny. And that reminds me that my brother wants me to buy him a present here and send it all the way to Canada. She thought. It's not actually a request, it's a threat. He said that if I don't do it, he'll tell my school's principal to bring me back there and terminate my exchange-student scholarship.Omo. That can't happen! She talked to herself while shaking her head quickly.

Her brother, who's certainly older than her for a lot of years, is the head gym intructor where Jenny studied in Canada. He is a close friend of that school's principal and he could really cancel his sister's exchange student program. He is really against it, but maybe he's just being too overprotective to his little sister. He is giving her the chance to grow up and spread her wings independently, but he'll interfere anytime if anything goes wrong.

My school's instruction is to contact this person once I'm already here. Jenny recalled suddenly while she's walking towards the exit, and so she came back inside and stayed on the airport's lobby. It's the Seoul High's student council's president. I wish they told me her name- or his name- so that I won't be very awkward greeting her... Or him. I really wish that it's a her.

She dialed the phone number that's printed on the small business card. She doesn't really know why they assigned a student to pick her up in the airport when they could have assigned their faculty staffs. But then again, it's not like she can choose. It just took two rings when that person answered the phone. "Please tell me you're the exchange student or else-" a him. He's a him. Hello, awkward self.

"Uhmmm... Yes." Jenny replied.

"Good! I was waiting for like two hours or so. You must at least treat me a drink or something... Where are you?" A chirppy yet somewhat aggitated voice replied. Good thing that he's not shouting. And wow this guy's confidence is surely high. No wonder he's one of the student council.I wonder how he looks like. Yah Seo Je Ni this is not the time to have crush on someone! get your thoughts straight, woman! Jenny has been rambling and talking alot inside her mind.

"I'm at the airport's lobby. I'm the black sheep." she playfully said since she's the only person wearing black amongst the colorful shirts.

"See you then, black sheep." He laughed and hung the phone up.

And little did Jenny know that today marks the start of her own roller-coaster ride of experience in her home land. What could happen? What awaits her? Surely, no one knows until it happens... as Seo Je Ni always says. "I leave it up to you, fate."
