Do I Know You?
Description
Wheein has a weird tendency to fall in love with non-existent beings.
Foreword
--- (0) ---
Wheein spent most of her life with non-existent beings, more than she did with any human.
Her first friend was when she was four years old. She was introduced to Pokémon by her parents with a gift of a stuffed toy. In her parents’ stead, her Pikachu accompanied her every meal time, every play time, and every nap. She claimed that her Pikachu was one of a kind, able to speak in their language and refused to speak to anyone who tried to dispel the claim.
Her first crush was when she was seven years old. She discovered how charming Tuxedo Mask looked in Sailor Moon. She swooned over the handsome thief on the television screen, her heart raced faster when he emerged as the hero of the day, with sparkles over his face. At one point, she diligently wrote numerous letters to the studio’s address for his hand in marriage. They never replied. When the series stopped airing, she later moved on to her next crush, Sesshomaru in Inuyasha.
Her first heartbreak was when she was nine years old. She felt a longing attraction towards the brother, Seita, in Grave of the Fireflies. Being a single child, she was sick of being alone and easily developed a soft spot for Seita when she began watching the movie. But after she finished the movie, she stopped bothering her parents about wanting another sibling for months, overnight trip to her grandmother’s house in the outskirt of Jeonju got cancelled once in the same summer when she watched the movie, and candy drops were banned in the household.
Her first betrayal was when she was eleven years old. In late summer, she waited in her parents’ balcony every day without a fail for an owl, perhaps Hedwig, to come with her acceptance letter. When she woke up on second day of September without a letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, she refused to get up from bed and cried herself to sleep.
Wheein has a weird tendency to fall in love with non-existent beings from a young age.
But it is her first time falling in love with a ghost.
A/N: I’ve been wanting to challenge myself to write fluff/comedy so I came up with this story. The level of fluffiness is not up to my expectation but I hope you enjoy reading as much as I did writing this story!
