Kim Jongin is only 17 when he gets himself into a horrible accident that causes him to lose a lot of his hearing. He isolates himself from everyone over the next few years to come, embarrassed by his condition.  He only starts to see himself transfom to the old Jongin, the outgoing, funny guy he used to be, when he meets a special person named Do Kyungsoo. The struggle between the hearing and hard of hearing is shown between the two, but they manage to build a friendship and something more despite the boundaries that keep then from doing so.
