You probably wouldn't think that you would avoid all contact, hide behind a counter, and cry until the idols became so uncomfortable that they left. Sol Mi didn't think that she would do that either, yet that was exactly what she did. And she would regret it for the rest of her life.

Sol Mi, 17

Sol Mi is a girl self-conscious in her own skin. She has the confidence to face the world when she's "made up" but doesn't consider herself the type who could pull off a messy bun and clean face. She is innately kind and sympathetic but tends to come across as a bit of a "witch with a B" when she's nervous, embarrassed, or annoyed; because of this, she plays it safe by blending in rather than standing out to avoid judgement and misinterpretations of her character. Sol Mi spends most of her time in a fantasy world dreaming her life away, so reality is unknown, terrifying territory. On the surface she can be fickle but her loyalty to the people she loves is unwavering. Her family is financially struggling, which takes its toll on their interpersonal relationships and puts a lot of stress on Sol Mi. Since Sol Mi's home life is far from her ideal, she can be bitter and resentful towards others if she sees their lives as being "easy".

Semmi, 16

Sol Mi's closest friend, although not necessarily the "best" friend. She's usually more self-assured than Sol Mi, so when she has her vulnerable moments Sol Mi will forget her own fears and step up to protect her. The underlining similarities between Sol Mi and Semmi are both the reason they get along and the reason they may drift apart.

Ju Il, 17

Sol Mi's life-long classmate. He's a loner who no one notices, although he's not exactly an outcast. He prefers keeping to himself and gives the impression that most people just aren't worth his time or attention. For some reason, Sol Mi is one of the few he seems to tolerate and even seek the company of.
