Breathe
Description
"Just breathe."
Foreword
"Just Breathe."
It was always like that for Kwon Soo Ah. No screaming, no crying, no arguing. "Just take a deep breath," she told herself, "it'll only last for a while." If people upset you, just breathe. If people hurt you, just breathe. If people argue with you, just breathe. But sometimes, it hurts too much. Sometimes, you've held it in for too long. And when those times come, all you can do is let it all out. You scream, you cry, and you argue. After all that is done, you feel lighter. As if a burden has been lifted off your shoulders.
Soo Ah believed in that. She believed that all she had to do was breathe. But even with all her self control, she couldn't keep it in forever. She grew tired. Tired of the constant whispering. Tired of the constant isolation. Tired of the constant silence. But in the end, she couldn't scream, she couldn't cry, and she couldn't argue. She only bottled it up. She kept her heart shut tight. The burden only got heavier, and heavier, until it dragged her down.
