“Granny! Granny!” 

A little figure ran towards her favourite grandmother and she had a difficulty to climb onto her grandma’s lap. She averted her attention from her knitting to look up and saw an adorable sight of her granddaughter, a grey-haired old lady picked her up slowly. A fortune for her because her granddaughter was not that heavy as she thought. Placing down the little girl on her lap, a content smile crossed across her wrinkled face as she patted the little girl’s head.

“What’s wrong, dear?”

“I want to hear your stories again!” the little girl whined with her high-pitched voice causing the certain grandma to chuckle.

“Alright alright, which stories do you want to hear?”

“Yay! I want to hear the cute bunny and little brown bear!” she peered up to her granny with twinkles in her eyes indicating her excitement.

“But, dear. You already heard that stories over and over again.” a wrinkled yet delicate hand tapped the little girl’s buttoned nose whilst chuckling softly.

“Pretty please, granny? I’m bored playing with mommy there.” she pointed at the woman with her little hand, who laid down on the floor with her eyes closed, her silky hair sprawled on the floor messily, her daughter’s barbie dolls were all over the place in the living room and a tired look surfaced on her daughter’s face.

“You should know that mommy is tired with her hectic works, dear. But alright, I will tell you the story. Let’s start the story.” her cute little granddaughter nuzzled her head on her granny’s shoulder as she curled up on her lap while her thumb. A certain grey haired old lady swung back and forth on her rocking chair slowly.
