Chapter 17         2^nd Week’s (The Four Days)  – Relaxing Atmosphere…

      Final Preparation - Kibum’s Birthday Celebration…

Location:            Kim’s and Choi’s Mansions

Day 1 – Heechul and Jessica Visit At The Venue…

Kibum wakes up with a note on his table detailing their parent’s travel itineraries… sighing… he says, “oohh..Mom-Dad I hope you are all right – it must be tiring to prepare all of these…”

 Meanwhile over at Heechul and Jessica’s’ situation – inside their private plane;

Jessica:           Honey, I hope our Bummie will like our surprise… My, I am so excited… I can’t wait how
                        he will react to all of these…. (giggling)

 Heechul:         I know… but I am having a lot of fun… We could have been doing something like this at 
                        the very start you know…

 Jessica:           (sighing) yeah… It would have been so great… I miss those years but knowing Bummie –
                         he is so simple…

 Heechul:          (chuckling over Jessica’s statement) like who’s talking…

 Jessica:           (cringes her face) hhmmm… honey… ok… ok… my fault…so stop now… but still, good
                         thing we made him agree to do this…and I want to do this every year…

 Heechul:          I hope so…honey… I hope so… by the way, do you have the complete details of what we
                         need to check…

 Jessica:           Yeah, I have it. Don’t worry – got it all covered.

Soon the plane touchdowns at the middle of the venue, Heechul and Jessica get off...starting the day with a meeting with the organizers of the event. Soon after, they start verifying the whole place from the stage, halls, housing facilities, initial designs installed, etc… basically the whole area…making sure that everything goes well and perfect.

Although, they have hired topnotch event planners - they have decided to spend another day in the venue to witness the preparation of the entire design structures…

 Day 2 –  Body Measurements

 Kibum receives a call from Sooyoung requesting his support in getting his body measurements for his party wardrobes. After several minutes Sooyoung arrives, Kibum welcomes her at their main entrance door.

Kibum:             Hi good day Aunt Sooyoung! It is so nice to see you again.

Sooyoung:       Same here Bummie… I am so excited about your upcoming birthday.

Kibum:             Thank you very much Auntie – I don’t know what’s going on. Can you tell me something 
                        about it?

 Sooyoung:       Sorry honey but I made a promise to your mom, not to share any information with you
                         (smiles)

Kibum:             hhmmm (with pleading eyes) please…

Sooyoung:       (hesitating) hhmmm I really want to but I can not… sorry… honey and I am really proud of
                        your parents for arranging everything…come let’s take your body measurements…

Kibum:             (pouting) hush…shuh… Mom and Dad are really such meanies…

Sooyoung:       (smiling) aaiigooo you are so cute… ok.. ok… I can give you two hints…

Kibum:             (face lights up) really? Ok what are they?

Sooyoung:       First I will give you describing words: “sparkling”, “wings”, and “flowy” – so, enough…

 Kibum:             (shakes his head) Auntie – meanie too… (pouts more)

Sooyoung:       Second – I will prepare 5 fantastical wardrobes for you…

 Kibum:             hhmmm… I think I have an idea… but I am not pretty sure about it… perhaps “A Magical
                         Show”

 Sooyoung:       (smiles) hhmmmm… okay raise your arms…

 Kibum:             (looking at Sooyoung in a very adorable way)… Auntie, you hear me?

 Sooyoung:       (can not resist to smile at Kibum’s adorable manners) …aaaiggoo why are you so
                          adorable…

 Kibum:             (puckering his lips) aaaiisshhh Auntie – you are causing a diversion… Am I right?

 Sooyoung:       (intentionally ignoring Kibum’s plea) ok, straight back…

 Kibum:             (pulls and pushes his lips vigorously) aayooo, I give up… you don’t love me, do you?

 Sooyoung:       (as she watches Kibum’s child-like behavior she could not resist pinching Kibum’s
                         cheeks) Of course, I love you – silly?

 Kibum:             just asking… (looks at Sooyoung with pleading eyes) so… auntie…

 Sooyoung:       yes bummie?

 Kibum:             I hope you are not tired with all of the preparations…

 Sooyoung:       Of course not honey…what gives you that idea?

 Kibum:             Thanks Auntie…

 Sooyoung:       You are welcome Bummie – so, we are done… I need to leave now as I have to create
                         the design for these measurements…

 Kibum:             (still hopeful for more hints) Can I see it, Auntie?

 Sooyoung:       (laughing and winks at Bummie) So cute but sorry – no can do… so I have to go now…

 Kibum:             I will walk you Auntie to the main door…

 Sooyoung:       Thanks a lot Bummie (kisses him)… Bye… (walks towards the waiting car)

Kibum:             Bye Auntie … (waving his hand)… aayooo so I am clueless… (sighs)

 Day 3 - Kibum’s Unexpected Visitors…

 Quietly two persons without being noticed secretly go inside Kibum’s room both are wearing smiles on their faces.  The other one, lies next to Kibum’s sleeping side body position, facing the latter’s back placing his head on top of Kibum’s head while the other facing Kibum’s chest placing the latter’s hand on his shoulders. Kibum unknowing of the situation says - in husky morning voice… “Mom – Dad you’re here….hhhmmm” and they all doze off in further sleep.

After somewhat like an hour, the two at same time give Kibum a much tighter hug – making Kibum a bit slowly waking up, still with eyes closed; his hand starts inspecting the one that’s in front of him – starting from the head, nape and cheeks and move his hand backwards to check on the other – same procedure as he did on the first… Soon after he says… “hhhmmm… the Koala is in front of me while the bear is at my back”

Taeminnie:      (rubbing his head on Kibum’s chest and groans) uunngggg… Bummie…sleep…

 Kibum:             (making an “o” mouth-shape) hhhmmm… and Minnie, don’t you think your hug is so tight 
                         that I can hardly breathe…

 Minho:             (murmurs)… coz you smell so good in the morning…

 Kibum:             seriously guys, wake up now – you have succeeded in waking me up…hey you two, look
                         at me…

 Taeminnie:      (facing Kibum) unless you give me a kiss (puckering his lips near Kibum’s and slowly
                         closing it) hmmm….agghhh…

 Minho:             (stopping Taemin’s action by covering Taemin’s face with his palm) I don’t think so
                         Taeminnie… (and moves Kibum’s body with his back on the bed)…now, this is much of a 
                         very good position (and puts his face on Kibum’s shoulder blade – breathing Kibum’s 
                         scent) hhhmmmm smell so good…

 Taeminnie:      The alien is being a ert… what a disgrace…

 Kibum:             (couldn’t help but chuckles and says)… you two have gone mad… (facing Taemin) so
                         how did you manage to come here?

 Taeminnie:      (smiles widely at Kibum) Oh, we called Mr. Taeyang who gladly picked us up…

 Minho:             (hums) Bummie… we were so surprised with what happened in the school few days
                         back… and we are hurt you didn’t tell us personally…

 Taeminnie:      hhmmpphh… yeah (seconded)

 Kibum:             (hugging both Minho and Taeminnie) oh, I am so sorry – I really planned in telling you but
                         it was just so sudden and my parents are now in a chaos and in extreme secrecy planning
                         the whole thing. Before I could call you more things happened these few days… but I am
                         glad both of you took the initiative coming over…I like it a lot… (kissing the two Minnies
                         foreheads)…

 Minho:             (shaking his head) still am not going to forgive you…

 Taeminnie:      (shaking his head too) me too….

 Kibum:             (sighs) ok… so tell me, what I am supposed to do?

 Minho and Taeminnie at the same time say….

“KISS!!”

Kibum:             (groans) not again… you guys… seriously… kiss? You two act like whining girls…

 Minho:             (pouting) so I have been doing it with you …(then gasps)…

 Kibum:             (suddenly looks at Minho in a questioning look) say… doing what Minnie?

 Minho:             (acting nonchalantly) hhmm… we kiss each other all the time since we were toddlers..

 Taeminnie:      (looking at Kibum) Is that true? Hhmmpp… that is so unfair..

 Minho:             (smirking at Taemin) sorry… Taeminnie… I was born first…

 Taeminnie:      (pouting) so what… I don’t care… Bummie.. can I kiss you now?

 Minho:             (frowns at Taeminnie) ooiiii… Taeminnie – that’s hyung for you.. why do you keep on
                         forgetting it…

 Kibum:             (shaking his head) ok..ok.. enough.. I am going to develop migraine listening to your
                         whines you two…Taeminnie, ok here is the kiss – give me your cheek…

 Taeminnie:      (shakes head rapidly) no… I don’t like cheek…

 Kibum:             ok .. ok.. ehe..he .. (sweating) what the heck, a peck, seriously… (gets Taeminnie’s face
                         and gives him a quick peck)..there… happy?

 Taeminnie:      (smiles widely) thanks bummie.

 Kibum:             (facing Minho – hesitating) hmm… why do I have to kiss you? We are no longer
                         toddlers…

 Minho:             eehhh?... so? You said you will kiss us both… now give me one… (puckering his lips)

 Kibum:             Minnie… aaiisshh…don’t be silly…

Taeminnie:      yeah…(nods) I agree you’re a big alien now…

Minho:             (sulking at the corner of the bed) but you just said it… if I am on your shoes I’d do it… life
                        is so unfair… (In his gloomy face, stares at Kibum – pointing the latter via his lips) you are
                        so unfair…

Kibum:             (chuckling at Minho’s situation) oh my god… Minnie you are so ridiculous…  stop it… 
                        come on…

 Taeminnie:      Bummie – don’t mind him. He is just acting silly…

 Minho:             (glaring at Taemin) NO, I am not…

 Kibum:             (breathes heavily) aayooo… ok…ok…

As soon as Minho hears the word “ok” jumps at Kibum’s lap and sits – pulls Kibum face and does a quick mouthful peck…that surprises Kibum as well as Taemin– a lot….

Minho:             (grinning wickedly at the stunned Kibum) thanks Bummie…

 Taeminnie:      (makes a deadly stare at his brother) OH HYUNG – look what you’ve done…. You are so
                         gross!... yaakkss…

 Minho:             (smiles at Taemin) bleh… he (pointing at the now pale Kibum) just said OK…

 Kibum:             (stutters)…eh..eh… Min-nie… why on earth…. You crazy lunatic… bug… (smacks 
                         Minho’s head with a pillow) you… jerk… (looks at Taeminnie) is .. he… always… like this?

 Taeminnie:      (shrugs his shoulder) I don’t know key-hyung, he can be weird sometimes…

 Kibum:             (looks back at Minho) Minnie, do you not have a girlfriend yet?

 Minho:             (annoyed at Kibum’s statement) hmmphh… no time… I don’t like girls…

 Kibum:             (shakes his head) my..my.. poor Minnie… (hugs Minnie to console and says) were you
                         probably got dumped or something…(gets Minho’s face and kisses the forehead)…
                         here… are you ok now?

Minho:             (pouts at Kibum) whatever… (but smiles touching the place where Kibum just kissed and
                        hugs back Kibum but tightly) Bummie… yeah… I am so hurt (glaring at Taeminnie and
                        grins wickedly)

 Taeminnie:      (scrunches his nose, fiercely stares at Minho and whispers in the latter’s ear says)
                         ***hyung – what? You’re so lame, che!***

Minho:             (sticks his tongue out at Taemin) bleh… (Sniffles Kibum crazily) hhmmm….

 Kibum:             (confused) Minnie… you have colds? What are you doing…enough..enough… I cant
                          breathe… (forcefully detaching himself from Minho)… ok…ppheewww…what was that?

 Taeminnie:      (smirking) aahh… his usual bizarre excuse for an “H”

 Kibum:             (further confused) what is an “H”?

 Taeminnie:      (smiles innocently at Kibum) nothing key-hyung… just a secret language…

 Kibum:             (dazes but recovers quickly) anyway…what would you like to do today… hhmmm… let
                         me see…

 Taeminnie:      something fun bummie – I don’t like video games! Minho-hyung will sure dominate the
                         game..

Kibum:             (raises an eyebrow towards Taemin) Are you sure of that? By the way, Minho, have we 
                        competed on games?

 Minho:             (shakes his head) nope…

 Kibum:             (grins) let's do it sometime…

 Minho:             (smiles) yap…let’s see who’ll win…

 Kibum:             (laughs) heh… don’t be sure of yourself… aahh… (face lighten up) let’s cook..

 Taeminnie:      yeah… I like that… I’ll be your assistant chef…

Minho:             (pointing to himself) and what about me?

 Taeminnie:      a boring spectator…(grins)

 Kibum:             (LsOL) ha ha ha.. you meanie Taeminnie…ha haha

The day ended with fun filled  activities…. In random Minho says…

“Can we be forever like this, Bummie?” Kibum smiles back at him…
